Coming up over the next 6 weeks, we have Seahawks, Eagles, Bills, Dolphins, Lions, and the so-called Commanders (whatever that means).
All of the parrots amongst our fanbase are jabbering about how we haven't beaten anyone with a winning record.

The trick to that argument is we're often part of the reason the teams we play don't have winning records, because we end up issuing them a loss.

The other part to that argument, it's all talk. This team hasn't really been talking much lately. Take DaRon Bland, for instance, he just goes out there and let's his play do the talking. McCarthy didn't hand us a bunch of excuses after the loss to the Cardinals, he stayed late at the office and just got the adjustments done. Personally, I appreciate how McCarthy is a perpetual student of the game and brings a level of curiosity, which allows him to adapt to an ever-evolving league.

That's good for the players. By week 11, you ought to know what your team is or what it can do. The key now is putting it all together and executing what you've been preparing for on game day.

This team wasn't the most prepared team in week 5. But they look like one of the most prepared teams in the league right now. They look as good as the Eagles and 9ers. The Eagles have just been blessed with luck lately, and the 9ers have shown they aren't invincible.

No team is actually invincible. But in a one-and-done playoff tournament, you have to play like you're invincible in the post-season to get to the Super Bowl. To get where we all want to be, we'll have to win several in a row, usually against winning teams (unless we're talking last year's Buccaneers). This team can win the next 6 in a row. If they do that, anything is possible. I'm not counting them out to be the number 1 seed. Over the years, we've seen how the teams who gel and start coming together towards the end of the season are usually the teams that win, and we've seen teams start strong only to fizzle out when it matters.

I'm not going to say we are winning 6 in a row, but I'm saying we can, and we "should." It's something in the air around the Cowboys, though. To me, this year feels different than last. Mostly because we're not being predictable on offense. We're not running up the A and B gaps to start the game. Instead, we're passing to set up the run.

With our current defense, passing to run the ball is a formula with success. Had we begun the season with our current philosophy, we'd likely have a different record right now.

Somehow, though, I have a feeling those losses will end up being a blessing in disguise, especially the trouncing we got by San Fran.

This team is coming together, even more than last year, which makes me think we should win out from here.

Yea they're not going to win out.

But it doesn't really matter. 3-3 and healthy going into the playoffs is more important.

..its possible. Offense is hitting its stride. OL is playing better.

If they can beat Philly, Buff, Sea and Wash. Id be happy with that.

Go into Post season healthy. Anything can happen.

We have win out to have any hope of improving our seeding. And the Giants have to beat the Eagles once. That’s really our only realistic path to the division title and I’m not sure it’s realistic.

winning last 6, against that level of competition is going to be challenging. specially that we have 3 wins and that would make it a 9 game winning streak, with expectations to win 4 games in post season, making it a 13 game win streak. very very challenging to do in NFL. I expect us to have at least one loss, but probably 2 losses. ending up at 12-5 just like last year.

Actually, we play the Eagles one more. Then if the Eagles lose to us, plus another team, that should put us in pretty good position...

Fair enough. I just see it a bit differently. I think we beat Buffalo, and the Eagles. I worry a bit more about the Lions right now. Mostly, because they're an up and coming team on an upward trajectory.

Still, Dallas is coming on.. They're starting to play like a seasoned team. Even the Mazi Smith is making plays out there. I can't wait for Overshown next year. I doubt he's actually injured. If he is, my apologies. The issue is our secondary was so loaded, there was no room.

..here's what VERY possible. We take care of SEA, Thursday.

SF beats Philly on Sunday. Showdown for 1st place comes to Dallas, following week.
I think we win the next 2 and Philly losses the next 2.

For use to win the division tie breaker over the Ugles, after we win the next 2, and they lose the next 2: Of course we need to stay tied with them and they need to lose to the Giants 1 time( in 2 games) and we need to beat the Commanders. This would give us the 2nd tie breaker, best record against your division.

We can still win the division if this scenario does not play out, but we will need Philly to lose 1 more game than us. They could lose to Seattle as we continue to win!!!!!!!

Say the Eagles lose to the 9ers and us. We’ll both have the same record if we best Seattle, but Philly will still own the tiebreaker. Most tiebreakers beyond division record look bound to go Philly’s way. So an Eagles loss to the Giants really is our best chance.

Our secondary is loaded except Jourdan Lewis. We need to find an upgrade in house or on the streets if he does not start to improve. He played slightly better vs Washington.

You don’t think Overshown was seriously injured? Makes no sense to hold him out all season for a minor injury?

How? I'm not sure how the tie breaker system works

Many many Super Bowl winning teams go on winning streaks at the end of the year.

If we want to hoist the Lombardi we may need to be one of them!!!!
