When it comes to MVP ask yourself honestly how much difference does Prescott make to the Cowboys' team?

Based on the previous two seasons where Cooper Rush has a 5-1 record as the starting Cowboys QB, there's an argument the Cowboys would have won all the games with him as QB this season (dominant defense resulting in pick 6s and offensive drive after offensive drive) except the Chargers game where Prescott was excellent and he played key part in the win by making some good plays when needed. On the same token the Cowboys may have beaten Arizona with Rush as a more regulation and competent type performance at QB may have got it done. The Eagles beat the Cowboys regardless so on balance Prescott has been worth one win over Rush in my view.

When I look at the Eagles' results then there's an argument Hurts was central to up to 8 of the team wins! Granted, he was a key culprit for the loss against a strong Jets D at home (Mahomes and Allen both struggled against the Jets D on the road as well). The four games the Eagles' opposition scored 28 points or more, Hurts and the Eagles offense scored more points and won all of those games with clutch plays when required. Conversely, the Cowboys' opposition scored 28 points or more in three games and sadly Prescott and the Cowboys' offense were unable to suppass that and lost both games.

Hurts made key contributions when the Eagles beat several very good teams in the Chiefs, Cowboys, Dolphins and Bills. He will have more chances to showcase his importance over the next two weeks when the Eagles play the 49ers and Cowboys.

It depends how people judge the league MVP but if the metric is the Most Valuable Player to a team, then if people are being objective, it's a no contest between Hurts and Prescott.
So,are you saying Dallas is a much more well balanced team than the Iggles and because of that, they can win games regardless of who is under center? Whereas the Iggles have to have Hurts?

Or is it Cooper Rush is just as good as Dak?

Or, you just love Hurts?

Or Dak just sucks?

Or maybe all the above?

I don’t know why we take any of these talking heads seriously. Dan started of his talk show career saying Carson Wentz is better then Dak. Then had the nerve to rank Dak as one of the worst quarterbacks going into the playoffs last season behind Daniel Jones and Geno. Stephen A. was a Dak backer the last 7 years and now Dak is some how a problem.
This thread is referring to QB Rodgers' observation of Prescott's season - not about the opinion of the radio show host (and his sidekick).

Orlovsky, I've never seen Dak Do this. Stephen A. Blind leading the blind. He would know what and out and up was if you spotted him the up.

Dak has been playing well. But he’s done this before, so it’s still a question of whether he will go back into a shell when a team like the 49ers or another team presents matchup problems he’s had issues with.

oh stop it with that stupid cooper rush comments. Cooper led the 22nd ranked offense or worst in almost every statistical category. the defense averaged 13 pts a game during the win streak. I would have gone 2-3 with that team and I am old and I suck. the first team that scored more than 20 points on us, we lost the game and Rush panicked and threw three interceptions. so put that crap to rest. its embarassing. the rest of the Bash Dak Over Dallas Cult has not used that in a long time because its dumb.

That’s pretty cool to hear. I think he’s right about a lot of things. I’m not the biggest Dak fan out there but hearing his peers talk about him in this manner is really awesome. My scientific brain asks the question “what does Rodgers gain from talking up Dak”. We know why Jerry does it and the Cowboys organization or teammates, but why would Aaron talk him up? Just something to think about. Also did anyone catch AJ start to smile when Aaron talked about Dak’s cadence? We all love “Yeah Here We Gggooooo”.

Aaron uses drugs, LSD and stuff, of course he is watching Dak...that's what many need to do during some of his games. lol

But, yeah, Dak is killing it on the field..."here we gooooo".

Just reminding people that this is the same A Rod that had high praise for Zach Wilson as well.

That was Aaron Rodgers supporting his new teammate in Zach Wilson. As for Dak, Rodgers has no investment to give any kind of praise to Dak other than stating the truth how he really likes Dak's performance as of late and why.

Playerspeak from Rodgers.
Just came on to the team and replaced Wilson as the starting QB - whose first two seasons in the league have been rough.
Encouraging words from a teammate that could help young Wilson get his career in gear. (Appears it didn’t help as of late.)
