Dak's play the last four weeks or so has been really good. There's no doubt about it.
Now, he hasn't been perfect, and there are still occasional plays that are frustrating, but nobody is perfect, and that's not the standard.

If he can be consistent with this level of play (or close to it) going forward, especially into the post season, then I don't think there will be that many vocal critics.
That said, he's had short stretches of really good play before that didn't last, so it's understandable for people (myself included) to be a little hesitant in believing he's over the hump or won't stumble.

On a somewhat side note, though quite possibly related, it's nice to finally see the offense doing things many of us have been calling for since 2008 or so (more crossing routes, using the entire field, etc. etc.).

I’m constantly shocked at how so many fans don’t understand that there are around 45 players that play snaps during a game and not just 1. It’s like they’re in the Twilight Zone somewhere.

Here's the thing though Stephen A Smith and Dan orlovsky while Cowboys haters always ripping on Prescott last year with the interceptions even in the early part of the offseason then went to the red zone narrative they couldn't score,

well they both admitted they got nothing else bad to say about Prescott at this point but they keep bringing up the last thing they can bring up is he's not beat any team right now with a winning record , Anne orlovsky had to come up and talk about how they play the bottom 10 defenses in the last five weeks outside of Philadelphia then has to claim they have a week back in so yeah they're struggling to find things to talk crap about because one Justin Herbert and Josh Allen and even really jalen hurts not been playing that well as far as the quarterback position because of the turnovers they've had to give Prescott some props this year

but for the love of God we must at least beat Seattle but beating Seattle and Philly back-to-back will probably leave nothing else left for them to talk about/.... I think fans need that more than Prescott himself or the team needs it it would be nice to beat both those teams back-to-back both have winning records that would be finally what we might get some peace during that 10 day. At least after the seattle game it sure would be nice because if we lose to seattle and have 10 games for them to talk about it I don't think I'll be able to come out of a cave I'll lock myself in A room and will not turn on a single live TV show for 10 days...LOL ;)
I don’t know why we take any of these talking heads seriously. Dan started of his talk show career saying Carson Wentz is better then Dak. Then had the nerve to rank Dak as one of the worst quarterbacks going into the playoffs last season behind Daniel Jones and Geno. Stephen A. was a Dak backer the last 7 years and now Dak is some how a problem.

When it comes to MVP ask yourself honestly how much difference does Prescott make to the Cowboys' team?

Based on the previous two seasons where Cooper Rush has a 5-1 record as the starting Cowboys QB, there's an argument the Cowboys would have won all the games with him as QB this season (dominant defense resulting in pick 6s and offensive drive after offensive drive) except the Chargers game where Prescott was excellent and he played key part in the win by making some good plays when needed. On the same token the Cowboys may have beaten Arizona with Rush as a more regulation and competent type performance at QB may have got it done. The Eagles beat the Cowboys regardless so on balance Prescott has been worth one win over Rush in my view.

When I look at the Eagles' results then there's an argument Hurts was central to up to 8 of the team wins! Granted, he was a key culprit for the loss against a strong Jets D at home (Mahomes and Allen both struggled against the Jets D on the road as well). The four games the Eagles' opposition scored 28 points or more, Hurts and the Eagles offense scored more points and won all of those games with clutch plays when required. Conversely, the Cowboys' opposition scored 28 points or more in three games and sadly Prescott and the Cowboys' offense were unable to suppass that and lost both games.

Hurts made key contributions when the Eagles beat several very good teams in the Chiefs, Cowboys, Dolphins and Bills. He will have more chances to showcase his importance over the next two weeks when the Eagles play the 49ers and Cowboys.

It depends how people judge the league MVP but if the metric is the Most Valuable Player to a team, then if people are being objective, it's a no contest between Hurts and Prescott.
