Flip 'em Mazi for JD straight up! JK

I was so envious when they drafted him, I wanted that kind of size for the Cowboys D line, shows how pure measurements means very little in the actual game if you have no heart and discipline as a player or good coaching.
A good coach is also a great motivator. Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcels knew how to motivate guys. Kirby Smart at UGA knows how to motivate. Jordan Davis has nobody , apparently, in Philly capable of lighting a fire under his fat butt, and he seems incapable of doing it on his own.

Don't forget not only did the Igglies lose their OC and DC, they also lost their secondary coach. The importance of coaching cannot be understated and you don't have to look further to our sitiation. Do we really think that if anybody but DQ would have been able to develop our D to where they are at now, especially with our Pro Bowl CB being out most of the year, and not being given bodies on the run D?

I hate to see the Eagles struggling. I hate to hear about division in their locker room. I hate that some of their draft picks aren't living up to expectations. I hate that so many people inside and outside of the organization are questioning their coaching staff. Most of all, I hate knowing that the Eagles' fans are having to deal with such disappointment and discouragement. They deserve better..

Is that how you do sarcasm? I tried to find a font labeled "sarcasm," but didn't see one.

As with most fanbases when a pick starts looking like a dud, they start looking back and whining about who they should have taken.

And low and behold, Eagles fans are now wondering why they hell they took Davis and then let the Ravens take Kyle Hamilton one pick later. Hamilton might be the best safety in football right now and the Eagles safeties basically suck.

However, they were in the Super Bowl last season. With the addition of their two #1 draft picks on defense, they were supposed to be even better. This was enhanced with additional veteran free agents.

What went wrong?

I think they may have underestimated the value lost in veteran leadership and experience when they let some walk and replaced them with rookies and other young players with talent but less experience.

When you combine that with both sides learning different systems under different OC's as well as the injuries to valuable O-linemen, you could see the potential for them to get bogged down a little.

However, it would be a tragic error to think this is a long term issue or that they are suddenly impotent as a contender.
The loss of both coordinators is a factor. It's one thing for coordinators to bring in their system(s) but how that system fits with your personnel is another matter. I think they underestimated the value of good coordinators coz they had so much talent, especially on offense.

Dudes a bust. If he was a Cowboy we’d all be crying what a bust he is. Eagles last 3 draft picks

Jordan Davis Bust
Jalen Carter Good pick
Nolan Smith Bust
Except for the fumble return against us what has Jalen Carter done recently?

This is a little harsh, I think. I have watched Davis play. He often gets a double team. Coming out of college he had a rep for being a little lazy. He took a lot of plays off. Maybe this is what Baldinger is seeing now. But when Davis wants to play, he can be really good. But like I said, he had a rep in college. If he gets a whiff of failure maybe he will straighten up.

Many fans forget, his stock only shot up after his 40 time at the combines. If I recall, conditioning was a problem in college coz he never played a lot of snaps.
Truth be told, many Cowboy fans wanted to draft him ( myself included)

Jordan Davis needs to mentor Jalen Carter, Fletcher Cox needs to retire and AJ Brown needs to be the cancer that divides the locker room
Well it is funny because the Eagles said that Jordan Davis was a great influence on Jalen. They cited this as a big reason why Jalen would be ont he straight and narrow...

Don't forget the white buffalo Philly 'stole" Nakobe Dean, the linebacker. I think hes been in the witness protection program. Because of poor drafting, they have no linebackers to speak of and a defensive line thats much to overhyped. When Baldy speaks, I listen carefully. The guy calls balls and strikes.

Technically, I believe, he's been injured a lot. That's been his biggest issue.

He has been but he's sucked when healthy. But hard to develop when you aren't out there. Howie may have went to Georgia heavy. Carter seems to be the only one worth anything and he's just a rookie still.
