I believe this is the most logically approach, but man. There are some good HC's on the market right now.

Only concern is how they will shore up the DC position. I doubt anyone will come here where the HC is a lame duck.

There isn't much smart about this at all.

Expecting something to change after 4 years of this is kind of silly at this point. Everyone keeps saying, just get a new DC and we'll roll again forgetting that the offensive completely crapped the bed in that first half (and in many of our big games this year).

You had to have known that if there was going to be a scapegoat is was always going to be the guy leaving on his own accord.

I mean he's under contract last I saw....gonna be interesting to see if someone gives him a head coaching job. I always suspected it makes no sense to give it to a defensive minded head coach unless you have a vet QB. Thought his market was limited at best and that was before Sunday.
