Ron Rivera interviewing for Eagles DC

Makes sense.

He's a quality, if unspectacular DC, which would be an upgrade for them. Further, it was reported by one of the beat writers that Lurie is looking for some "veteran" leadership on the staff going forward to help Sirianni.

Let's keep hiring from within, maybe we should interview the guy the eagles just fired!!!! Hey just keep it all in the family! lol

There are some comments in the other thread on this as well.

I wouldn’t mind Rivera for DC

Plus he is already familiar with the NFCE. That would be a good hire. Dallas needs to look into Vrabel, c'mon Jerry, fire DQ already and get cracking.

I wonder whose idea this is, the coach of ownership?

This screams to me that they want more experience on that coaching staff.

He took over Wash's defensive play calling around mid-season, and the defense seemed to have worsened.

..when he was with San Diego, they were a top 10 defense with Rivera installed.

He screwed the Commanders defense so bad I don’t think I’d want him coaching my defense.. but maybe Commanders dysfunction had more to do with it.
