Yes, but a change at QB won't be enough. We need a defense that can stop the run. We need a powerful running game so that whoever plays QB doesn't have everything on his shoulders. Above all, we need an owner who doesn't meddle. We need a coach who fully understands the game, but doesn't have to constantly look over his shoulder worried that his authority will be usurped.
...
This team could have had Patrick Mahommes at QB this last season, and we still wouldn't have done well in the playoffs.

Who wants Tua or even Trevor Lawrence? Tua has gotten Miami to the playoffs once and did nothing against KC. Lawrence has only gotten Jacksonville to the playoffs once in three seasons. He hasn’t come close to living up to his pre draft hype. He’s only had 58 TD passes in 3 seasons. Dak had 73 TD passes the past 2 seasons. Don’t know why they mentioned either one of those QBs.

Wouldn't make one shred of difference.

It's not the QB position that needs to be changed.

The answer is yes. Dak has had enough chances.

But I'm annoyed that the Cowboys are still a hot story after being bounced an NFL lifetime ago.

THIS IS THE ACTUAL ROOT OF THE PROBLEM!

The hype machine. The circus atmosphere.

The fact that they're still talking about us causes more feelings of despair than the forgone conclusion that Dak isn't going anywhere.

It's a subtle reminder that nothing that matters will change as long as we're still a cash cow.

Seems Dak's biggest supporters are always Cowboy Haters.
Remember when even Stephen A was pushing for Dak to get that contract?
I wonder why that is??????????????????????????? :muttley:

I say the Cowboys should keep Dak, maybe even extend him.
He is a good guy, won several awards...
went through some troubled times in his life and is having a new baby.

Now, you tell me how is he going to raise that child if he does not get paid?
It's not about football, he's just trying to still learn how to play.

And then, as fans we have our brain trust running the team...
and that is exactly what they are going to do.

I mean, what is another three or four more years?

Very odd. But they do make a good point. Allen, Burrow, and Lawrence’s of the world have never won either. That doesn’t make Dak better having said that.
The difference is Dak chokes in the playoffs. Burrow has been to the superbowl. Allen has been to the AFC championship game. Lawrence has been in the NFL 3 season. Everyone was saying how talented this team was. They were saying what a great leader Dak is. If Dak is such a great leader how come he can't lead this team when they are not playing well. Mahomes receivers were constantly dropping balls. Their running game was worse than the cowboys yet they are in the superbowl. They don't make a good point.

I don't understand why this anti Dak troll would post this, since the NFL guys who know what they are talking about, just annihilated that little arrogant sprite on his own show.

Its weird ........ its like he does not even watch the video he posts ........

Sorry but, dumping your totally capable QB so you can potentially hook your cart to the next Ryan Leaf has never quite made total sense to me....

This is simple to answer. The longer Dak remains the QB for the Dallas Cowboys the longer Dallas will remain as a non-threat to make noise in the playoffs. Why do you think all the Iggles fans voted in the last poll that they were happy with Dak as QB?
