If Harris wants to follow Quinn that bad then good riddance.
However if I was Jerry. Unless Harris goes as DC, which he can't stop. But if a lateral move, then Jerry should work a trade.

But DQ can give the AHC title so it would be promotion if it still works that way.

Maybe Jerry can trade both Wright and Scott to Washington. And Mazi can put on some weight this off-season.
Heck trade him as well for a 1st round or a 2nd and a 3rd.
 
Terrible signing for Washington IMO. I think Quinn's a high-energy shot in the arm that a defense could use after a couple years of Mike Nolan and Rod Marinelli, but he doesn't have the vision to orchestrate a ground-up rebuild.

Hes a coach. Not a scout. Parcells wanted Merriman over Ware.

Bottom line is he had a bad year mostly due to having no front 7.

Are we going to ignore how well this defense played when Rush was starting? Or are we just deflecting blame from the real problem w this team?

hold them responsible meaning what? What would a DC that holds players responsible have done this past year? Bench Damone Clark for Malik Jefferson? Lol this defense won't change until they add 3 or more key pieces. Quinn was literally a super bowl DC. It's the players not the DC
 
Team was doomed with and without him.

If anything, I’m more worried about the fact that our division rivals have our former OC’s and DC’s (KM in Philly and now DQ in Washington). They can attack the small things they’ve noticed from our players.

The defense looked horrid against the 49ers. In fact they have just about every single time the defense played them. Like I said before can you make up a more interesting fictional reality?
 
The fans here who are saying this is addition by subtraction or this is good Imo are foolish. Quinn had flaws for sure but he’s a very good coordinator, he made a big difference in the locker room and he got his players to play hard for him way way more often than not.

Now we need a new coordinator to come into a situation where the coach is a lame duck and change things around. Quinn staying given McCarthy’s situation was way more appealing than the now reality we face. Joe Whitt jr if he’s the guy hopefully does a good job.

I’m old enough to remember 3.5 months ago when half this board was Quinn fan boys only to flash forward to now saying “don’t let the door hit ya on the arse”.
 
wonder how we could get Washington's second overall pick in the draft. Who could we trade to them that quinn would want?
 
would Belichick be the DC with an understanding he will be the HC?
