Takeaways on a few of my favorite guys:
- AD Mitchell: "90% body catcher"
- Xavier Leggette: "better than DK was coming out"
- Troy Franklin: "Jordan Addison"
- Malachi Corley: "steal of the draft"
Leggette came in a little shorter than I hoped at the Sr Bowl but I still love his tape and ability. Can't wait to see these dudes at the combine.I think there is a decent chance Leggette is a late 1st. He has alot of #1 WR traits. Top 15 of the second would be my floor for him like Michael Pittman and Jonathan Mingo. Other bigger WR's that had #1 traits but were just behind some guys in deep classes
Corley would be an excellent #2 to Lamb. Probably wont run fast at the combine, and you may want a speed guy as a #3. However he will absolutely punish single coverage after the catch
I’m going to side with the HOFr on this one.I seen every game Adoni Mitchell played. He's not a body catcher. Even if he was it wouldn't matter. Michael Irvin was a body catcher.
I wouldn't side with anyone who thinks Mitchell is a body catcher.I’m going to side with the HOFr on this one.
I understand you absolutely love every Texas player that comes out…but it’s not just Smith. Lance Zs draft profile has it as a weakness as well.I wouldn't side with anyone who thinks Mitchell is a body catcher.

And yet I'm right.

Just because I bleed burnt orange doesn't mean I can't be critical of them. I am an expert on the Longhorns. I follow them more than I do the Cowboys. And I'm not the only diehard Horns fan here.I understand you absolutely love every Texas player that comes out…but it’s not just Smith. Lance Zs draft profile has it as a weakness as well.

Corley is so fun to watch…I just worry about MM being creative to get him involved early as a rook. I’d give him the Deebo treatment if I was OC and just get him the ball early and let him work the YAC.Really like all these guys. I’ve been in on Corley from the jump. Realistically he may be the only one we have a shot at in round 2. I’m going under the assumption we don‘t take a WR in round 1.
Irvin was a body catcher when it made sense…mostly slants when he knew he was going to get hit. Big difference.Just because I bleed burnt orange doesn't mean I can't be critical of them. And even if he was a body catcher that would mean nothing. He secures the ball from his hands all the way to his body. Just like Michael Irvin did.
He was a body catcher more than that.Irvin was a body catcher when it made sense…mostly slants when he knew he was going to get hit. Big difference.
Agree to disagree…moving along. He was a body catcher more than that.
There lies the question. I think they can create a role for him as a receiver and as a ball carrier in some instances.Corley is so fun to watch…I just worry about MM being creative to get him involved early as a rook. If so I’m all in…can’t wait to watch him at the combine. There lies the question. I think they can create a role for him as a receiver and as a ball carrier in some instances.
Corley is the WR I want to see dawn the silver and blue...perfect fit for our scheme. Corley is a WR built like a RB...similar to Debo. But, with how we use the short passing game as an extension to the running game, Corley is a nice piece to have.Really like all these guys. I’ve been in on Corley from the jump. Love it…Ceedee eats double teams and coverage and Corley and Cooks could eat on single coverage.Corley is the WR I want to see dawn the silver and blue...perfect fit for our scheme. Yeah, it sure would make it difficult for defenses. It would help spread the defenses out and should allow for the inside run. It always looks good on paper thoughLove it…Ceedee eats double teams and coverage and Corley and Cooks could eat on single coverage.
