And even he is a question mark. This year it was Revel. But that was an anomaly

If he makes $25 million to $30 million a year it is going to be a 3rd.It’s actually pretty complicated but here are the basics and there are considerations for things like making all-pro, etc
Where the new contract lands in comparison to others in the position
3rd Round: top 5%
4th Round: below top 5% to top 10%
5th Round: below top 10% to top 15%
6th Round: below top 15% to top 25%
7th Round: below top 25% to top 35%
Was that the superbowl Ben was on a rookie deal?Ben Roethlisberger won a Super Bowl while completing 9 of 21 passes with two interceptions and a passer rating of 22.6.
It takes a team to win playoff games. We can blame Dak for not performing as well in the playoffs as he does in the regular season and that is fair.
Now, name me all the other Cowboys players in those playoff games that DID perform well. You can't credit the team for all the wins and dismiss Dak; and then just blame Dak for all the losses while letting the rest of the team off the hook.
Nah, I tapped out back in the '90's when FA started. If he has a 1000 yard season he probably gets an offer that gives us back a 3rd or 4th. You understand how it works, right?
ah. thanks for sharing. I assume he'll get a top 10% contract if he balls out, just the way FA is. I also assume no way on God's green earth our cheap ***** pay for him. It’s actually pretty complicated but here are the basics and there are considerations for things like making all-pro, etc

Jason Witten is one (I know a long, long time ago...)You guys cover 3rd rounders so much who is this all pro pro bowler we’ve drafted in the 3rd that makes y’all love them so much?
Don't need to google anything to know that they would be beaten handily by the 70's Steelers. 70's Cowboys. 80's 49ers. 90's Cowboys. Etc...Google it, that take isn't as insane as you may think.
I'm really not biggest fan of Dak, but he's top 15 at leastok, so are you in Dak's corner, saying Dak is one of the top QBs in the league?
let him actually prove he is worthy before annointing him with the annointing oil of greatness!
They don’t all gotta be angels….Shotty changing the culture with “high character” guys already.
Shotty was hired specifically to not be in control of anything, just as I’ve been saying all along.
This trade proves it.
We’ve had some success in the round. I just feel like taking one year off and having our other picks are gonna be ok lol.Jason Witten is one (I know a long, long time ago...)
Michael Gallup (pre-injury), Jourdan Lewis, DeMarco Murray...
I don't necessarily disagree with you though.
You fix the locker room so you can bring these guys in. You are right. People are being weird about this trade lol. They don’t all gotta be angels….
He has already said he want to play out his current contract, he betting on himself having a good year. What if Pickens hold out until he gets a new contract? He is in the last year of his deal.
Yeah the Steelers are a better run organization, the drafted Kenny Pickett to be the face of their franchise and he was right under their nose playing in their stadium for Pitt. The Steelers are clearly infallible. The fact the Steelers, a actually better run organization wanted to get rid of a young talented receiver, should give everyone pause...the guy has been a major headache in Pittsburgh..so much for the NEW culture theme!!
