I don't disagree with you, Dallas needs to be more aggressive in free agency.

But I know the reality is they won't be.

I was speaking of those posters that are constantly starting threads or posting their disbelief how this team is not acquiring players on the opening of free agency.

They root for Dallas but have no understanding of the way they operate.

Oh I know that’s the reality as well and I agree there’s a large segment of fans who complain over everything but This is a legit gripe imo

My problem…

It’s a fact that they aren’t good enough and needed to get better.

If there’s no cap space to do that, why not start over?

And although I knew all along “all in” was misinterpreted, why is Jerry saying anything remotely close to those words if this is how they intend to continue to operate?

It’s really as if they are on different pages.

I don’t like saying things like “they don’t know what they are doing,” but honestly what’s the plan here?

A few draft picks? I mean at least make that a several year plan and do it right. I really don’t get how they feel as if whatever they can possibly still do gets them over the hump.

Just because Jerry/Stephen have conditioned us to lower expectations through a lack of activity doesn't mean we have to be happy about it
Right, no one is happy about it. But lowering expectations prepares is mentally or emotionally when they don’t conduct themselves as we’d recommend or hope for.

Yes if is but I’m thinking they don’t care what we think. Not enough anyway.

I think their meaning of All In means they are going to stay their course. Not what we’d do,

But you have to stay in reality.

You can fantasize about acquiring all these players, but you're just fooling yourself because that's not how Dallas operates.

When Dallas doesn't acquire anyone you don't get angry because you knew better. If you get angry you were just fooling yourself.

The team isn't the problem. The lack of grasp of reality is.
The team is the problem.

Thinking like the team does has gotten them nowhere.

That’s the problem.
Thinking like the team is only way to understand or at least anticipate what and why we are doing.

It’s like profiling criminals . You have to lower yourself to their kind of thinking .

Yep " All In"
Looks a lot like status quo.
I guess they thought we would not notice ?
Jethro will resign his marquee stars like Micah, Lamb and Dak. That’s his focus. All In to him.

Tyron is only one I thought there might be chance to save but oh well. He’s become expendable too now with Tyler. Look for OL to be our 1st round pick.

The team is the problem.
I say the team is not the problem because the fan who doesn't understand the team is the problem.

I laugh at the fans that say Jerry should sell the team. That is the dumbest statement.

If the fan had a grasp of reality they would realize that only death will have Jerry not be a part of the team.

You root for Dallas. At least be knowledgeable about the way the team operates, not how you wish it to operated. Reality versus fantasy.

Unfortunately this is right. Continuing to expect our owner to operate differently is a lost cause.

I know how the team operates.

I am still going to criticize them for being idiots.

Of course. And we should always hold their feet to the fire. But expecting them to act or do differently is questionable.

Well Jerry did try to sell the fans on the idea that this season would be different by saying he was "ALL IN" and the focus would be on this year, not building for future years.

Jerry then proceeded to do what the Cowboys always do, which is nothing in FA.

But if you do the same thing you have done every year, how is this year going ALL-IN compared to any previous year?

The answer is Jerry lied to the fan base, plain and simple.

Jerry reminds me of a cheating spouse who got caught I’m sorry I’m going to do better I love you only to just keep lying I honestly thought we would be second level active in FA now with this Dak drama I’m just ready to move on Jerry doesn’t know how to tell the truth to save his life and it’s on me that I believed him Shame on me Jerry speaks with forked tongue
