Bengals new RB1 Zack Moss on why he chose Cincy over Dallas in free agency

He literally told you because of Burrow, Higgins, Chase….but really…he chose them because they offered more money.
Money was always going to be offered. It came down to the better talent under center. That is all. The Dallas Cowboys are a joke franchise. People refer to them as a SB contenders as a tongue in cheek joke. Everyone knows this isn't serious.

I know their future isn't as bright as ours, but they do have some good players on that team!

We still have Dak!
Unlike Dallas, Cincy doesn't have to provide a 20 year road map to get rid of one player. Here in Dallas you talk about getting rid of Dak and all of a sudden we need to produce a thesis on what the next 20 years without Dak is going to look like.

Exactly! Jerry falls in love with his players and signs them to ridiculous contracts or holds on to them for too long!

He went to a team with more talent and a real chance at contending for a championship. It’s not only about the money, he’s in a better situation. And they don’t have two clueless dumazzes running the show!

I am old school, but I would rather go to a place that has a better chance of winning a championship. I think most of us on this board ( not a blind Cowboy homer) agree that the Bengals are in better shape than the Cowboys.

If Bengals offered him less money he would’ve went to a different team. He’s a jag.

Was Dallas even in the mix talking to him?
She just asked the question why not Dallas. She could have easily asked about about team, such as the Ravens.

But he had a pretty good spot on answer.
With the WR group the Bengals have, and with Burrow, teams must respect that passing game. So they can't load the box all the time against the run.

Have the Bengals ever won a Super Bowl?

And he got 3 million. Lucky he got that.
he got 3 million??? I bet Jerry and Stephen laughed soooooooooooooooooo hard!!!!! Lol, like they're fools for paying a RB that kind of money, RB's to them should only be paid 100k!! lol

Yes, per Michael Gehlken they were interested. Not sure if got down to negotiating but I believe he stated not at that price.

It's already been reported the Cowboys weren't comfortable with Moss's price point so clearly Moss would have made more money with the Bengals which is likely the primary reason he signed there.

In terms of scheme and play calling the Cowboys are actually more committed to the run game than the Bengals and Moss wasn't used much as a receiver so he may have had more carry opportunities here. However, I get his point about the Bengals running shotgun, spreading out the defense and perhaps that creates some easier running lanes.
