Have we figured out why the Cowboys came out so flat against GB yet?

Our team just can't handle high pressure games, the players think talent wins but its a team game at the end of the day. 1 Team had fight and the other thought showing up would just work.
you're right!!

to me, the SF losses the previous two years were disappointing, but not upsetting as much since I thought SF was the better team both years. so losing to a better team doesn't as much bother me. it is what it is. but this GB game was beyond disappointing. it was upsetting. the team was not prepared. they didn't come out prepared. the coaches were not prepared. the defensive game plan was as if Quinn spent the night before devising it. made no sense. the offense was not in sync. the players acted as if they just show up and execute and they just win. or perhaps they thought GB is going to roll over and play dead. or they thought we can just turn it on any time. the coaches weren't ready. the players weren't ready. for Gawd's sake they had a post victory party planned. why in the heck do players even celebrate a playoff win. that's setting the bar low. I heard some of the players had rally party the week of the game. that's stupid. and we saw players frustrated, pouting. that's you CD. pouting, so the coach had to leave the sideline and come and pump you up. seriously. grow up.

the lack of readiness, lack of preparation told me they weren't seriously getting ready for this game. its the entitlement culture of the cowboys.

this past year loss to GB was extremely disappointing in so many ways because we lost to a team that wasn't better than us, at home.
I just can't understand what these coaches and players are doing during the week like seriously!

I can't tell they're making fixes :(
They aren’t. That’s the point.

If anything it points out the very obvious that the draft can’t fix everything, yet they continue to insist that it will…and somehow get away with it.

We need a return to Campo years for any shot at change. If I’m Prescott, Parsons or Lamb I’d play out my deal and get out of here.

No we weren't and don't speak this way about the Cowboys, they're highly trained in the BEST shape of their lives type of athletes!!
You must have missed the Demarcus Lawrence interview. That's exactly what he said. Team was tired. Lost because of it. Only one who has attempted to provide an answer.

We came out undermanned and out schemed on defense. We never did adjust and Quinn was terrible. The best team kicked our arses that day. The offense was ok, not terrible but not elite either. Sometimes its matter of match ups. Football is simple, beat the guy across from you up front, and you have great chances to impose your will, which is what GB did. Until we fix the trenches on both sides, coupled with a better run game, we won't win.

They were told that they already won and had victory parties planned.
THIS^. Coupled with a better team with a plan is why we lost badly. Quinn is media darling in the regular season, but when the spotlight gets brighter, he folds. Along with the team. This league is about the big uglies winning so the stars can shine. We failed.

All season long the Cowboys did not have a balanced attack, making it easy for good defenses to focus on stopping receivers not named Diggs.

On defense, good opponents knew to just run up the middle on the Cowboys. Easy.

Or tired.

Did they feel they were going to not have to play hard, did they overlook them? I struggle to think what was the week of game prep like, what was the pre-game thoughts of this team? Like "let's not go too hard, let's save all of our energy for the next game, after we beat up on GB?" I just don't get how you can come out with no fire in a HUGE game such as this! Please give your thoughts if you can offer some sort of explanation for this!
Green Bay simply mastered the passing game and recognized the weaknesses in the Cowboys defense.
They came out slinging and kept it up.
With no momentum for Dak to work off of, he shut down. While the Cowboys defense was trying to get a handle on the Packers attack, the Cowboys offense collapsed and spotted the Packers 14 points.
It was too much; a perfect storm.
By the end of the first half the Cowboys were beaten. It would've only been 14-7 if Dak hadn't give the Packers two touchdowns, but he did. The Cowboys were down 27-0 before the offense finally put something on the board.
That's how important it is for your QB not to be dependent upon other players creating the momentum. When the Cowboys needed a leader, he went into his shell.

100% I don't get why people keep using the Run Def as to why we lost. You don't win when your QB spots the other team points.

The fans on here do this often, and it blows my mind so hard!!!! These are grown men they're playing against, we're the cowboys, everyone wants to stick it to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yet we come out like we're the greatest team and can't be beat, then we get beat and you see our TOP players on the sidelines looking shell shocked like damn we should have practiced and taken them more seriously! Micah looking like "yoooooo what's going on!??" You're getting your butt kicked!!
I remember Troy Aikman Say in an interview after the game that Erin Andrews who was down on the field prior to the game texted him stating that there's a weird feeling around the Cowboys...

All them coaches that beat us up are off the Shanahan coaching tree. The film is out there on our weaknesses. And lastly there is no heart in this team, no will to live. We start getting punched in the mouth and fold like an dish towel. There's very few warriors on this team. No Charles Haley, no Bill Bates, Harvey Martin, Randy White, Larry Allen, Eric Williams, nor Roger Staubach . . . just a bunch of "talent" with no go to war attitudes. Micah Parsons is a perfect example. A buncha fluff !

edit:

Add Fat Mac to my list !

Oh, and lastly we are led by a couple of dead heads at the top with Jerry and Stephen !

Sometimes a coaching staff has a pulse on their teams and also know how to push their buttons and motivate them to incredible heights one week but fail to do so the next. Happened to GB as they crashed the following game. We on the other hand were sleepwalking just like in Zona and met a hyped up swarm of Packers that were as relentless as we were ineffective. The better team lost on that field. You can't let that happen in this important spot. That alone was a fireable offense for MM not having his team fired up and ready to play against GB. GB of all teams! We've moved on.

The Cowboys are a finess team that didn't expect Green Bay to put up a fight. The coaches failed to effectively motivate the players to give their opponent the attention and effort they earned. The front office once again undermined the whole thing by setting precedent that just making the playoffs was cause to celebrate.

What we saw was skill players running around like they hadn't practiced all week. Most notably CD and Dak were not using the same playbook.

I think the Packers just took it to us. We couldn’t stop them. And the turnovers and Pick 6 came. It was basically game over before halftime.

They were completely unprepared. The defense allowed too many wide open receivers for big plays and they couldn't stop Aaron Jones running the football. The offense came out without a plan.

There's no excuse for the team mentally quitting the week leading up to the game. It wasn't a matter of getting punched in the mouth or linebacker problems. Those don't come anywhere close enough to explaining a complete lack of showing up to even start the game. I know what I saw because I know football both from watching for over 40 years and from having played it up to the JC level. The 2023 Dallas Cowboys simply didn't want it.
