Eagles trade Haason Reddick to Jets

That they stuck with their head coach after last season’s collapse is peculiar. They’ll win nine or ten games this season.
They should. If Barkley goes down like he has in the past. They are screwed.

Not screwed anymore than any team that loses their top running back. They’d win 9 or 10 if they’d have kept Swift. Philly is reaching for the brass ring with Barkley.

If Reddick plays 2/3rds of snaps this year or if he gets 10 sacks, 2nd rounder but in 2026.
Yes but their cap probably improves and they get the conditional pick!
That better than nothing for a guy they could not keep.
Unlike another team we all know.

Have you seen the list of players the Jets have acquired?

Aside from T Smith, they've signed Mike Evans (WR), Solomon Thomas (DT), Mogan Moses (OL), Haason Reddick (DE), Lewis Fotu (DL), Tyrod Taylor (QB), Javon Kinlaw (DT)...

Looks like Smith may eventually retire with a SB ring
jets will be interesting to follow this season.

They probably don't make it.

A guy we picked up for a bargain off of FA 2 years ago, and now we turn him into a day 2 pick. FA can also supplement building through the draft.
Barring injury, I'm guessing it's a 2nd rounder. IMO the Eagles approach is brilliant. They're very active, and they don't sell the farm. But at the same time build a very good team. Their one weakness is at QB. They have to get back to a heavy RPO offense utilizing Hurts.

They were in the Super Bowl they year before. Firing him would have been the more peculiar move.
