Houston is building a pretty strong team. For those wanting/needing to jump ship, we won't have to jump far

Technically they aren’t a perennial loser. They have the second best regular season record in the NFL. By your standards only the Chiefs are perennial winners because if you don’t win the SB, you are a loser I don’t care where you finish your season
I get it but Cowboys standards (in the past) are not being happy with being Regular season champs. The Cowboys before this drought were in the SB or NFC Championship almost every year with the exception of the (by today's standards) small drought in the mid/late 80s. I know a lot of fans don't get that. Much lower standards for some people. Winning the NFC East is "go crazy" time for them. It's all good.

I would be shocked if the team left KC - even if the city didn't cooperate a lot of NFL fans would consider leaving a betrayal of those that supported the team.

I would also be surprised if the NFL gave the city of Dallas a team. Of course, DFW is a very large metro area, and could support 2 teams more than most metro areas, but with the name "Dallas" already in use that would seem unlikely. On top of that, Jerry is a pretty influential owner, and he undoubtedly would fight that happening
Owners do get specified geographic franchise rights. Even if the other 31 NFL ownerships groups voted for it Jerry Jones has the legal right to deny another NFL team being placed in the Dallas MSA.

Doesn't mean it won't happen in the future

I'd laugh if they moved back to Dallas. lol

I've been a fan of this team since 1967, Rambo. All the way back to Bob Lilly, Bullet Bob Hayes, Don Meridith, Chuck Howley ,Mel Renfro, Walt Garrison and so many others. The teams of those days and up to when Jimmy left were real players who went out and gave it their all. They showed up and win or lose, you would know you had been in a dog fight. Hard to let go of what was. It was fun in those days, I'll say that. I'm sure alot of these other fans feel the same way.

I've been a fan since 1965. It was fun then and fun now. My locker code at the club is 22 74 after Bob Hayes and Bob Lilly.

It might have been 1966. The icebowl at Green Bay. Meridith connecting with Bob Hayes and I liked the uniforms and the Star on their helmets.LOL. I was around 8 or 9.

Dallas can bring some excitement back with the right picks.Ifeel they need to draft for a dominate run game and to stop the run. That would be a great start.I am always excited for the next season of Cowboys Football.

The kc stadium funding debacle was mishandled from the get go. John Sherman, the royals owner, wants a down town baseball stadium. Blames concrete "cancer" and costing more to repair the k then to just tear it down and build new downtown. Problem is there's very little public transportation in kc and downtown is a maze of 1 way streets. Long story short, Sherman was not transparent about the populous report that found the concrete cancer that a local engineering firm found no evidence of during their annual inspection for Jackson County. Sherman promises 1 billion in private investment for the entertainment district if Jackson County extends the 3/8 cent sales tax for 40 more years. Chiefs want 800 million for repairs which the hunt family would front 300 million for when they tear down the k.

Honestly if it was 2 separate ballot items, the chiefs get what they want and Sherman can pound sand. But it was one ballot item and it tanked despite 3.5 million dollars being spent by the team for propaganda. It was really entertaining for the last few years. They will revisit it again and probably separate the 2 issues.

I’m a Cowboys fan to the grave. Grew up in Dallas and my dad started taking me to games in 65. The Cowboys represent something other than football to me - they represent a bond between my father and me (or I; grammar experts chime in).

That said, I would love the Chiefs to come home to Dallas. If nothing else, it should light a fire under the Jones clans’ derrieres. But Jerry is too powerful in the owner’s cabal to allow that to happen.

I'd choose Secaucus, NJ......the old joke is that if your woman asks you to kiss here where it smells, drive her to Secaucus
I was casing a bank job up there a few weeks ago. Laying in the weeds.

The feds questioned me. Told them I was resting. They didn’t seem to buy it.
