I want to look back on this next year when we know.

No ifs, ands or buts. Yes or no? Is Bill Belichick the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys a year from now?

Does anybody really think the owner with the ego bigger than AT&T stadium, would even take the slightest chance on hiring Belicheat, have him turn the team around, has playoff success, and take the credit for it? Sorry cant see it, just not in Jerry's DNA. Jerry loves his retreads but I don't think he will hire this one.

If he is our next head coach, it won’t mk any difference. Jerry will remain the phantom head coach hiring staff for the “head coach” before they are even named the hc. Jerry and his model of micromanagement is the root cause of our woes. You can take the Super Bowl winning roster and put them in Dallas on Jerry’s cracked foundation and we still won’t mk a deep playoff run.

BB and Jerry are decades old friends. There are despairing gratuitous similes and then there is the objective truth.
That's hilarious.

Old friends are they?

Are you old enough to remember the articles put out on Jimmy and Jerry when they took over the Cowboys?

Oh yeah! Best friends! Two peas in a pod! College roommates!

Turns out they didn't hang out at all. They were roommates for road games because the coach paired them up in alphabetical order.

.....Old friends.....objective truth.....hilarious....

Belichick would never take take the job without being given full autonomy over the team, the draft, cuts, free-agent signings, and would want Jerry to stay out of news conferences, out of the locker room, and off the practice field.
...
In other words, the answer is, "no."

They said that about Parcells too and they were wrong.

Honestly, it kinda makes sense with the way this off season has so far. its the only way these non moves, and having these coaches on one year deals makes any sense
