There's no doubt but what Irvin was too Cowboys biased when that topic came up. It was sure to irritate the fans of other teams.

times a changin...CBS just said bye bye to boomer esiason and phil simms.
Irvin, Marshall Faulk and Deion and a nice thing going for a couple years with the Sunday night postgame highlight show.

CBS...I seem to be one of the very few who actually liked Simms as a game/studio analyst. Boomer was fine. I think they're downgrading by replacing them with Watt and Ryan.

in my opinion there are two things in play here for one all the networks are doing this it's probably because they're feeling the pinch like magazines and paper news have got pushed out by the Internet now it's streaming along with social media Internet being real time push notifications come to phones we're getting a lot of our news and another way....

Secondly all these players are up in age and are out of touch with the newer groups and some of the recent retirees from the NFL those players are taking some of these positions they're just trying to keep it fresh..

This has nothing to do with Michael Irvin and more to do with this is just the way all the networks which most them are owned by one the CBS ESPN affiliate but they're all cutting people and downsizing and kinda changing some of the formats....

Would have done this long ago.

His manner of speaking was a bad look for television, along with his ansambels.
This was purely a cost cutting move and manner of speaking doesn’t matter anymore. It’s entertainment value and Michael is always entertaining.

He’ll get picked up by somebody.

Well more than likely my perspective is he'll probably be a free agent meaning to be an independent probably won't get a year contract with the OR a long term contract but he can sell his services weekly for appearances you know they get the guy to come on to their shows he can go to certain games he could be a correspondent third guy in the middle on a live and get paid that way...

Thanks for the info. I was traveling when that broke.

I know its hard for those guys but change is inevitable. No matter how good you are, there comes a time to move on. Wish them well.
i think it has a lot to do with bringing in guys that will work cheaper. I really do. NFL Network is having probs
