Bobby Belt: Trey Lance doesn't look like an NFL player to me

Yes...starting a QB that cost 3 first rounders....man..that is some SERIOUS evidence there!

Starting a QB that has only started 1 year his entire life. Has less than 500 completions. No on offered a scholarship.

But he is Phenom. Just has had bad luck and no one has given him a chance.

We won't know how much the 2025 QBs will rise or fall. The Georgia QB and Quinn Ewers could very well play their way in the top 10 in next year's draft.
Pretty sure the supply of competent QB's will not magically increase in 2025.

Blame McCarthy for that. He had no plan. Wasted Vaughns rookie season.

The Cowboys run up the score on bottom D units , struggle to find the end zone when the competition is top tier . Dak seems to get wide eyed , lots of 3 and outs.

In the SB after Purdy inside the 10 couldn’t get the TD to win , Mahomes surgically moved the Chiefs down the field game set match .

Mahomes was gifted a muffed punt inside the 15 and a missed extra point. Otherwise the game never makes it to OT.

Yeah, probably not. Doesn't change the fact that starting Lance is only useful if the goal is to tank. Unfortunately, the NFL would realise this is a tank and punish us.
When in nfl history has a team been penalized for tanking a season? You’re tanking with all QBs on our roster if winning a SB is your ultimate goal. Trey is an unknown. Dak is Dak.

Trance is an unknown and always will be because he will never get back on the field in a real NFL game.

We don't know what kind of seasons the QBs will have. It's not about increase ,it's about who's already there.

There’s been a lot of teams, including Washington, Cleveland and the Jets that have been playing the odds for decades at QB and you see where it’s gotten them. I like our odds a lot better with the QB we have than the odds of trying to find a QB better than him.
You just don't get it. I don't know how to simplify it any more.

Pretty sure it is MM's offense.
The offense is devised for Dak. This is certainly not the offense that was ran in Green Bay for Rodgers. All offenses in the NFL are geared to the quarterback’s strengths and weaknesses.

All? I think that is a stretch.

Mac Jones had a great rookie year. 2nd year was a new offense. 3rd year was a new offense.

If it was catered to him why did they not keep it the same? It was because they changed OC's.

I get it, but you don’t which is why you would rather play the odds at QB. The odds are going to be very long coming up with a better QB than we have. It could take years and I’ve provided the examples.

Could have ended if Purdy had gotten the 49ers over the goal line ( inside the 10 )
Didn’t do it Mahomes marched down the field got his third ring .

My point in regards to Dallas is against top tier defenses McCarthys offenses wilt .
