Dak Prescott heaps praise onto potential breakout Cowboys receiver

Fast Forward a few months after Dak has a bad game, and Dak will be backing up the bus over Tolbert to save his own skin.
He'll be backing up the bus to deposit his $60 million...imagine how you'll feel then!

no Lamb means no passing game
Agreed if Tolbert was a bust but Dak seems to think Tolbert has what it takes.
If we can't stop the run we cannot be competitive in the playoffs and Chris Jones has proved to be far more impactful player in the playoffs than CD lamb in my opinion

It would take a lot more than Cee Dee to get Chris Jones.

Yep you're probably right I think that guy could go a long way to fixing our run defense a very impactful player in the playoffs.

We’d be instant favorites to win the East for sure and advance beyond.

also, no passing game means no run game...no run game means no pass game

I knew I liked you.
As much as I would love a fresh start at QB, as a fan of this team I am not naive to know that in order for a QB to have success in the air, he must also have success on the ground. And ya know what? I don't see a world where Dak can have success with this seeing the state of affairs otherwise known as our backfield. Imagine if Derrick Henry was available to sign in the post season?

I was drooling over Henry before free agency. Jerry really blew it. But yeah, unless the core trenches of both offense and defense improve, it’s going to be the same ole story.

Henry hurt because it seemed like there was interest there…and these guys didn’t even try.
