Alot of things people said we could do were put to rest today

I'm a Dak guy but other than that second drive, he didn't have a great day. Maybe that was the plan after they assessed risk.

it is exactly what they were doing. The EXACT same thing that happened in the first 3 or 4 games last season when our offense stunk. It stunk because the defense was stomping people.

Please inform we where the best defense in the league comes from? You know they were 13th in scoring defense, we were 5th.

The only thing they were number 1 in was passing yards and they were 17th in TDs given up.. statistically we were a better run defense.

They lost their OL coach in Bill Callahan, their OL was injured, they had a new OC in Ken Dorsey who was fired mid/season last year with the Bills…

Think I was one of the few who actually believed we would beat Cleveland. Said they were dealing with more injuries/starters out which was going to be huge.

Our defense played great especially our pass rush. Parsons almost single handily ruined their entire day ans Dlaw and overshown played great as well.

However as great as we played and as bad as Cleveland look I never judge teams by first or second week starts.

They lost Bill Callahan, they have a new OC in Ken Dorsey who was fired mid-season last year, they had multiple injuries on OL…. Watson is playing his first game off of shoulder surgery..

facts are not excuses buddy.. you just don’t like the facts.. excuses are McCarthy played “conservative” in the second half, as if pouring it on against bad teams has never been this teams MO.. suddenly they’ve changed their “tune”, even though they were kicking 60 plus yard FGs once again..

we lost our dc, our hall of fame LT, our ball hawking number two cb, started two rookies on the OL and our core guys barely played in pre-season.

He is stating the reasons the Defense Dominated. Not which team had a disadvantage

It was a beautiful win for the defense but an accurate assessment of who they are can not be judged
