He is very good at pass blocking but i am not seeing his run blocking strengths especially on the 2nd level which he showed at Kansas State..

The reason why there was a free runner up the gut on the first TD was because Tyler passed a DT over to Beebe as if it was a stunt when it was a twist and it gave a free lane to the blitzer through the opposite A gap when the other DT stayed in his gap.

It was a bad protection call. Martin said that Beebe is making those calls. I get that you want to slide protection left to help Guyton but given the wider interior formation that was not a good call. Opened up the middle.

Two in 36 really isn't bad by Guyton considering who he was facing, one of those was a sack, though.

Let me add that I thought McCarthy's plan for chipping away at Garrett, moving the pocket away from him, etc., was well done. It would seem like a no-brainer, but we saw what happened when our Garrett thought not helping Chaz Green was a good plan.
