This defense. Take out Parsons and this defense is awful

That's what we've been given. We've got a second-round rookie starting who wasn't a great pass rusher in college. We've got a first-round pick starting at NT who hasn't shown he should be a starter, and backed up by two old guys who not many, if any, other teams wanted. We've got a starting 3-tech who is not the game-wrecker you need at the position. We've got a veteran DE starter whose a strong run defender but isn't a great pass rusher.

Our linebackers also are on old vet and several third-rounders who haven't proven that any of them will be more than placeholding starters. We hope, but games like this show us what can happen if those players play down to the negatives against them instead of play up to the strengths that got them drafted.

This was true last year too. The Cowboys got Parson's not help in the off season either. They need a rusher, a legitimate rusher, on the other side. The DL is trash frankly. Where were the LBs today?

Zim is easy to game plan for, he is old news and brings nothing new to the table, yeah he moved Parsons around more last week and emphasized "in theory" the importance of our lie backers during the off season but that's it. You need to stay ahead of the other guy, in this game, show something different get an edge, Zim can't do it Big Mike Can't do it with the offense. We have some very good players but not enough of them to overcome the issues related to our continuing saga of owner/coaching woes we have faced for 29 years.

I saw that too.

Parsons has his moments. But u rarely see him come up big in clutch moments or against elite teams.

He has been pretty much invisible in the playoffs so far, except when we played a bucs team that had no business being in the playoffs.

In my opinion, he's definitely not on the level of a tj watt.

Take Dak out and this team wins 4 games-maybe...... Parson doesn't really matter..IMHO....I'd trade him and rebuild. Jerry shouldn't of paid Dak or CeeDee either. Time to rebuild. But you'll get the same results. Argue Dak -whatever. This team is done until the Joneses sells it......I'm verry happy CeeDee and Dak took that old fool to the cleaners.....

Once we get punched in the mouth the defense is awful with Parsons. He never shows up in these games where our defense is being dominated. He spends a lot of his time sucking air on the sidelines.

I would put the # of times our DTs were on their back.......literally on the ground......folded in half.......@ 30. They had 55 plays....Jordan Phillips and Mazi both just got thumped all day. Especially Jordan.....How does a 330lb man with bad intentions get their teeth kicked in....is beyond me. I honestly think my 55 year old *** could have put up more of a fight today.
