The DC Talkin' Cowboys crew (Kyle Youmans, Isaiah Stanback, Patrik Walker & Josh Rodriguez) break down the Cowboys 20-15 win against the New York Giants: the Good, the Bad & the Ugly, and what the Cowboys still need to work on during this mini-bye week. (54 minute video show)

Such negative people. They must be miserable.

If anyone thinks the run defense has been fixed because we shut down a mediocre Giants team you better think again. Let’s see us shut down a good running team. The Giants are currently 28th running the ball. Philly and Washington are in the top five. San Francisco is currently 10th and that’s without McCafferty who may be back for the Cowboys game.

This team is really bad

The Giants are a really bad team, worse than Dallas. Barely beating them is nothing to celebrate about, but........................ a win is a win and they have to take what they can get. The next win could be weeks away.

In other words,

Admittedly, the Cowboys were playing as a team that was troubled by the specter of non-improvement due to not performing well in preseason. The fact that they weren't allowed to have the advantage of Dak and Cee Dee working together throughout TC and preseason held them back. Then, they managed to work well together last night after a rough start and after that, managed to continue playing much better until the game ended. Let's hope that serves to help them and the team back into the swing of things. There's no guarantee that might solve all their woes, but at least, it's a start.
