Twitter: Jerry triples down on his radio comments

Because he's created an atmosphere where they don't dare challenge him. Of course he comes off "fair and open." Clearly he's demonstrated otherwise.
I was mainly talking national media. I should have been more clear.

For the first time ever, I'm starting to want an implosion from the players to force a change. I hope what Jerry is saying here gets reverberated around all media so that they can dig into it more. Obviously, you never want to screw with the league's money (Snyder), but you probably also don't want to screw with the media since they pay for the ability to broadcast games. If not that, then they bring eyeballs to the games.

I hope, after the Texans game, the league strips us of all our night games that they can. I hope the league sends a message to Jerry. Or, maybe they can find him on certain lists...

I'm not sure Jerry could admit he was wrong about anything.
Football related, you're 100% right. For being a JO to a radio host he deals with weekly I thought maybe he'd see the error of ways.
I was wrong.

Sorry but that's a good thing? Being open about yourself when you're an arse hole doesn't really help. It just adds narcissism to the list of your bad traits lol. Fair and open... haha, nice one.
When I say fair and open I'm not saying truthful and competent.
I'm just saying he always makes himself available to the press and gives his point on a matter.
I think Jerry's a fool for doing most of the crap he does. He the single reason, common denominator to the Dallas Cowboys lack of playoff and super bowl wins.

The Cowboys' FO has become an entity that has allowed a downward spiral to become a major aspect of their management. It's just sad to see this team dwindle into one that seems likely to become a cellar dweller. Let's hope they face the sad facts before this team worsens even more.

The local media kisses his butt, especially that radio station,
Only because they are the flagship radio station for the Cowboys. Switch over to The Ticket and you won't hear the hosts slobbering over Jerry as much as 105.3

JJ is having a narcissistic meltdown in front of the world lol… keep the pressure on!

He always says the buck stops with him. He make the decisions, cuts the checks etc…

It is high time the GM of the Cowboys is questioned and called to account lol

Yup, and if he wants the buck to stop with him, then he shouldn't be surprised when he gets all the criticism. Yet, seems he can't handle it. So, let's turn it up like Philly would if this was Lurie.

Sometimes you need to be taken to the woodshed

Or we can do like Commander fans used to do with Dan Snyder and just not show up to games…..

Nothing like a post pandemic empty stadium to turn things around

Seems to me that if he is paying their salaries then he has every right to tell them how high they need to jump!

In microcosm, this incident illustrates the importance of free independent media. We need people asking the hard questions without fearing for their jobs and careers. The Jerry Jones of the world think they are above criticism and question. He's not just an old fool. He knows exactly the message he's sending when he makes these kinds of threats. He's ruined people before and he will to do it again. The NFL and national media should be destroying him right now.........but most fear retaliation. Jerry knows people in high places.

It's hard to imagine

Thank you for sharing your experience. It's incredible that you were able to experience the building of a dynasty. Don't say this often, but I'm a little jealous.
I’m so frikin old I’ve enjoyed living thru it twice. Bad news is prob won’t live long enough to see again. Good news for this generation is their odds of living long enough to see it again and hopefully from other owners.

We were very fortunate the first 4 decades. These things run in cycles. Some NFL fans go much longer. We were bound to hit a dry spell at some point. There is a saying” can’t miss what you never had”. But you can yearn for it.

I tell all of this young generation of fans how fortunate they are as they will far outlive our current owner which will bring a renewed hope.
