I actually feel some sympathy for Jerry. I know he's rich. I know he owns the team that we love and all that. I know he's made some boneheaded decisions and such, but I kinda feel bad for him. But not in the way you might think.

I was thinking, and I said this in a thread, who needs that much money to be happy? I feel actually kind of sorry for Jerry because he's so money hungry that I wonder, does he know what love feels like? Does he not realise what's important? When he is laying on his death bed, which comes for all of us some day, how much regret will he have? You can't take money with you when you die. Money doesn't love you. Money cannot love you. It's an object. It's a thing. As the MeatLoaf song "Our Love and Our Souls" says, money is just money. It comes and it goes. It doesn't last forever.

At the end of the day, he seems like someone who is miserable and is money hungry because he's trying to fill a void. A void that is more important than money. Faith, love, family, friends, and fun. Those are what truly matter. I know he's a billionaire and narcissistic, but am I the only one that feels a little sorry for him in this regard?

I don't know him personally, and I've never met him. But, it just saddens me when I see people like him who are so hungry for money and the limelight. I think the sad thing is, probably a good chunk of us are truly happier in life than Jerry is.

I like 99.9pct of your posts. This though? This guy is a creep. Long demonstrated history of being a creep. He is to be ridiculed at every opportunity.

What would the 'void' be that Jerry is trying to fill? His life is missing something because he's too damn old to fire up the party bus one last time?

You can change the word money with many others and it would fit many, many people.

No doubt, but maybe it's just the horse in me, but I can't help but I feel a little sympathetic towards the fact that he almost seems incapable of doing anything that's not financially motivated at this point.
