What would the 'void' be that Jerry is trying to fill? His life is missing something because he's too damn old to fire up the party bus one last time?
The same void that fans of his team are trying to fill.

Love, I would imagine. Love and true friendship. He ran off Jimmy, someone who was his close friend in college. And now at 82, he's getting snappy with people and focused entirely on money. To quote Oingo Bingo, it's a dead man's party when you are that focused on money and have no true friends.

No doubt, but maybe it's just the horse in me, but I can't help but I feel a little sympathetic towards the fact that he almost seems incapable of doing anything that's not financially motivated at this point.
Some people are just bad. Way many more good people out there but some are just bad. Jerry is a narcissist. He is a terrible guy.

Jerry has lived a better life than 99.999999% of people. He's doing exactly what he wants to do and is very happy doing it.

There are literally many billions of people to feel sorry for before Jerry.

No doubt, but that's what makes it kinda sad to me. If he was a decent person, he actually would be someone who would be likeable. Except, he's lived the life of a narcissist, which makes him someone that can't really hold a friendship.

Frankly, I wouldn't want his life if it meant becoming a narcissist.

Threatening the livelihoods of someone for asking him questions wasn't about money. It was about being a garbage person.

No doubt, but it comes from the same narcissistic spot. It demands the limelight in a vacuum with yes men and all the money in the world. That's not something I'd want.

Bullcrap! If he wanted what us fans want he would hire someone that can build a damn football team and win some SB's and bring America's Team back to relevance.
Settle down....no need to yell. This is a grown up discussion. Write us a blues song about the sadness cast upon us by your owner.

I have said multiple times of how I don’t have any sympathy for Jerry. And it has never had anything to do because he is rich. It has everything to do with him taking the team we all supported, cheered and loved way before he ever came into power.

And after running Jimmy off, decided to take over all management and responsibility with an iron fist. No matter the mistakes and failures he encountered, continued to do the same thing over and over. He has wasted not just a third of his life, but at least half of ours. Time is precious and you never get back, regardless of whether you’re rich or poor. You make your bed, you lay in it. So you can feel however you want, just count me as one who has no sympathy, pity or sorrow for him.
