I know, it sounds crazy for me to think we are going to win anymore games in 2024. However, I think the Cowboys will beat the Eagles on Sunday. Here are the reasons why:

  1. Rush nearly had them last time he played them. The Eagles are not as good as when he last played them. They're good, and Barkley will be a problem, but I think Rush will lead us to a shocking win.
  2. Nick Sirianni is an idiot. As much as we may want to have swipes at McCarthy, Nick Sirianni is a certified moron. He nearly blew the Browns and Jaguars games with some insanely braindead calls. I think Sirianni is going to make some insanely boneheaded decisions that the Cowboys will take advantage of and beat them.
  3. The NFC EAST is insanely hard to gauge. In NFC East battles, it's usually best to throw the records out of the equation and the run of form the teams have been on. Somehow, I think this won't be any different.
Somehow, I think the Cowboys will narrowly edge out the Eagles. If I had to guess, I think Sirianni is going to have the Eagles try to go for it on 4th and 4 up 20-16 (I think Aubrey will hit a 69 yard field goal before halftime to make it 20-16 btw) late in the 4th quarter instead of kicking a field goal. I think it will fail, and we will drive down for a game winning TD to Lamb. I don't know why, but I think we somehow win this game 23-20

Eagles 200 yards rushing, rush 3 ints sacked 6 times. We cooked

I went out on a limb based in no logic whatsoever and picked an upset of Cowboys over Falcons last week.

I can respect that you're following suit with a hopeful prediction this week.
Hope is all that's left and it's running in short supply.

I try and remain a glass half full individual at this point as well Rusty, so yes, sure we can beat the Eagles on Sunday, I got your back!

Rush will play fine,Be very refreshing seeing a qb that can see the field.
Our secondary is trash...worst safeties ever and Diggs is trash.
DL is total trash..Hurts will tush push on 4th and 3 and they will blow Mazi Smith 4 yards back. lol.

Ya'll better hope Rush don't beat em.
Although I'm quite happy to see Rush starting, I think this is going to be another butt kicking. The defense isn't going to be able to stop both Hurts and Barkley.

All Rush needs to do to help the defense is try to get a few time consuming drives to let them rest. #4 certainly hasn't been able to do that.

You have been really sucked.

Yup, and it's also a case of, this is a game we have no business winning, which is exactly why I think we do win it.

I don’t see what it matters anymore

Truthfully, not much, and I don't think we win many games after this one. However, football is a weird sport. Sometimes, the most logical outcome is the most illogical one. In this case, we truthfully shouldn't be competitive. But, especially with this being an NFC East battle, this is the exact type of game we would win when we have no business winning it.

I won't argue.
To be a fan is sometimes being irrational and always wanting the best for your team.

I'm just confused as to what is realistically best for this team right now.
Emphasis on realistically.

Truthfully, finishing 3-14 would be best probably, but 4-13 should suffice. I just think this game has a shock win written all over it. It doesn't make sense, which is why it makes the most sense.
