I think the Cowboys will beat the Eagles

I know, it sounds crazy for me to think we are going to win anymore games in 2024. However, I think the Cowboys will beat the Eagles on Sunday. Here are the reasons why:

  1. Rush nearly had them last time he played them. The Eagles are not as good as when he last played them. They're good, and Barkley will be a problem, but I think Rush will lead us to a shocking win.
  2. Nick Sirianni is an idiot. As much as we may want to have swipes at McCarthy, Nick Sirianni is a certified moron. He nearly blew the Browns and Jaguars games with some insanely braindead calls. I think Sirianni is going to make some insanely boneheaded decisions that the Cowboys will take advantage of and beat them.
  3. The NFC EAST is insanely hard to gauge. In NFC East battles, it's usually best to throw the records out of the equation and the run of form the teams have been on. Somehow, I think this won't be any different.
Somehow, I think the Cowboys will narrowly edge out the Eagles. If I had to guess, I think Sirianni is going to have the Eagles try to go for it on 4th and 4 up 20-16 (I think Aubrey will hit a 69 yard field goal before halftime to make it 20-16 btw) late in the 4th quarter instead of kicking a field goal. I think it will fail, and we will drive down for a game winning TD to Lamb. I don't know why, but I think we somehow win this game 23-20
i admire you remaining positive. Im with the majority here. We are done.

Is last years defense coming back, Tyron, and Pollard?…..

Oh, we probably are, but I think we somehow win this....then again, I'm also dining in in a Pizza Hut........yes, I have a pizza hut near me with a buffet (not today cuz they're short staffed) and the ability to dine in.

i used to love pizza hut. about 2 years ago they closed the last 3 that were reasonably near me. Enjoy.

Ask your waiter what their finest bottle of wine is.

Do they even have a waiter?

Or is it just some zombie behind a cash register.

Bro, you should class it up a bit if your going to dine in, and go to KFC or Arby's instead

Oh, I enjoy them (a long with a lot of local places here in Ohio), but I've not dined in at a pizza hut since the 90s (born in 1992). So, this is as nostalgic as it gets. The buffet isn't running today because short staffed, but still!!

Yeah, they have a waiter. Unfortunately, I'm driving, so no wine for this horse. Still, I'm mainly doing this for nostalgia lol.

Eagles probably won't have Jordan Mailata, AJ Brown, and Dallas Goedart. Hurts is nursing an ankle issue. Sirianni is a certified idiot. We could pull the upset.

Exactly, this, the Giants, and Panthers (seriously, if we lose to the Panthers, Jerry needs to sell and or fold the team) are probably the only wins remaining for us.

If Sirianni is an idiot what does that make Mike McCarthy? The guy is peculiar, but it’s his first NFL head coaching job. He plays in the same division as McCarthy, so similar schedules. Despite being much less experienced than McCarthy, since he became a head coach he has posted a better regular season win/loss record, a better playoff win/loss record, has won a conference championship.

Sirianni is prone to imprudent decisions during games, but if you’re going to suggest he’s the Eagles’ problem than the reason(s) for their success must lie elsewhere. The Eagles may lose because they’re due a bad game and they are not going to “run the table”. Your use of the term insane multiple times and 69 yard field goal suggests Sirianni won’t be the only whacko interested in this game.

Oh, probably, but it'd be true NFC East for it to happen.

Siriana has one advantage.
Dallas on Sunday followed by Washington on Thursday. Two division games five days apart.

You want to win both, least you want is to go 1-1, so take care of business Sunday and a win on Thursday is a bonus confident booster.

Lose Sunday, Thursday is going to be a long day.

Cowboys are playing on pride and paycheck and somebody tapping on a tour glass with a thumbs up.

Advantage Philly.

Our only shot for a win in November is Thanksgiving . And that could be a struggle.

And Rush will do all he can . Just doesn’t have the same level of defense when he went 4-1.

I believe that we win as well
