I was wrong about Cooper Rush

This doesn’t mean I think Dak is a good quarterback because I don’t think he is!! However as a man I can admit when I was wrong and I’ll happily eat my crow. I think I desperately wanted a savior so I latched to whoever was next on the depth chart, so I was hoping for a miracle with Cooper Rush.

This just means one thing. Our QB1 and QB2 both stink and our team is running out of answers. Starting Trey Lance might be our only option left and even he probably sucks too!
 
I am not sure what games you actually watch. You are wrong every week of every season. Yet you never learn one single lesson. I am convinced you are a bot at this point. No one could be as thick in the head as you appear to be online.

Rush may not be the answer but he is not as bad as someone made him look yesterday.
And even at that he threw a td pass that CEEDEE lost in the sun.
Rush is better than he looked yesterday. He may not be the answer, but neither is Dak.

You were also wrong yet again. LeeBlair and Cowboyfever1973 are the two worst posters on this board. And they never learn from their foolishness every year.

They think any backup QB with a pulse will bring a low end Cowboys roster to the Super Bowl. Zero effort to watch, understand, and learn from the games. They make the same unfounded, illogical predictions every year.

The game spiraled out of control last night. It happens.

Romo had two games with 5 or more TOs.
In 2007 the Cowboys won 25-24 vs Buffalo on a Monday night.

In 2012 we lost to Chicago 34-18.
 
Many were wrong about Cooper Rush but I wasn’t. Not to keep pounding on him but his 45 passing yards were the lowest since Quincy Carter in a game in 2001. Rush never completed a pass for more than 10 yards. I kept telling everyone who were making such a big deal about his 4-1 record in 2022, that team was MUCH better than this garbage team. The fans who claimed Rush is better than Dak or on par with him made themselves look incredibly stupid and are still wiping pie off their face. If a fan couldn’t see that Dak was much better than Rush prior to yesterday, they have no clue about football or talent evaluation.

Those people were delusional and it's hard to believe they still don't understand the context of his 5-1 performance.

Stop lying.
What we KNOW is that Dak will never lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl unless Jerry writes those obscene checks to the officials.
You know, like he apparently did vs Detroit the last two seasons.
 
It is absolutely stunning that people convinced themselves Cooper Rush was a good QB who if given the opportunity, would show he's as good as Dak.

This is when Dak hatred goes too far, LOL. It makes you say/think silly things.

Yes, Lamb couldn't see that pass. But as Romo pointed out a few times, Rush missed open guys instead just dumping it off quickly. He also missed some easy throw down the field. Lamb had Mitchell beat and all it required was a decent back shoulder throw. Rush underthrew the ball. He missed another play were Lamb was wide open and he just threw into no man's land.

Rush stunk yesterday, which should surprise no one. He's not a very good QB and is a backup for a reason.
