If the Cowboys suffer their 6th straight home blowout loss vs Houston Texans on Monday Night Football, does Big Mike get fired?

The next team up is Dan Quinn's Commanders ( yes Commanders ) and you know Dallas is losing this game @ Washington on a short week

I don't think he gets fired until the end of the year. Plus I want no interim coach as a HC possibility. Finish the year with McCarthy, it's already not going well and start fresh from there.

No because he’s the got the injury card right now. Which is legit, many injuries to key players this year. But regardless, an in season firing ain’t happening unless he does something illegal or inappropriate

I don’t see a mid season firing for a number of reasons:

1. JJ has already stated he isn’t going to do it

2. MM is on the last year of his deal, JJ simply won’t renew it.

3. There is no one who is stepping in to replace Mike that can get this team to the playoffs

JJ set MM up as a scapegoat. He is paying him 5 mil this year to wear the blame so JJ doesn’t have to.

The more pressure Jerry gets to fire him, the less likely he is to do it.

Keep him and Cooper enduring the mess. We are already an embarrassment.

Why blame the jockey because the horse is slow?

Jerry handed McCarthy a lame horse and told him to run the race anyway.

A couple of weeks ago I thought Washington would win big over the Cowboys but after last night, I am not so sure.

First off we will lose by 30

Secondly big Mike won’t because what’s the difference between him and an interim?

Only chance we have against Washington is running dowdle 25 times he can get a 150 no lie against them because their run D is what ours was with Quinn

Others coaches don't seem to like it when an owner/GM shows they will fire a HC mid-season. It would make it harder to get a new coach in here...although I'd be willing to bet he already has a handshake contract in place with the next coach.

No need. His contract is finished at the end of the season.

...Unless they want to interview a coach that is not coaching this season. Some coaches won't interview if the current HC is still employed.

Coaches that are coaching cannot interview until the regular season is over.

No benefit to firing MM, and Jerral hates paying coaches, so he won't pay for Mike not to work.

I don't think so... but is MM does get fired, who is calling the offensive plays? Our do nothing OC? And who get the gig, Zim, and his Mike Nolan D?

No

Their QB has hit the wall, plus he is hurt. Neither team will hit 30 points. Not even close.

I'm guessing there are astute fans out there who believe this franchise needs a complete culture change. From the owner and Vice President SJ downward. Letting MM go now doesn't remedy much, this cake was baked a long time ago.

..you would think so. Then again at this point, its more entertainment than anything.

He won’t get fired midseason because the season is going to end the same way with him as HC or without.
