News: PFT: Jerry Jones: NFL is excited about Netflix becoming a "huge part" of our future

I recall NFL commissioner Pete Rozelle, during a TV interview, promising that NFL games would never be shown exclusively on pay television.

I believe that was some time close to 1980.

I can't prove it. It was a TV interview and I can't locate a video, want to be up front about that.

The NFL used to be a collaboration between a well-known business owner and a local, community government. Fans, by extension, were "co-owners" through taxes that helped pay for infrastructure that supported the stadium. The business owners benefited from good PR.

That's why teams always had the name of the city, state, or community followed by their description. Dallas Cowboys.

That was a different time.

JERRY IS EXCITED ABOUT EVERYTHING, we finish 0-17 he's excited about our progress etc etc, proud of the way the guys improved on the playing field out there!! lol

Was at the bar last night. My friend was working, her phone was 3 rounds ahead of mine. And hers was 3 rounds behind the real time match.
Another friend, her phone was about the same as mine.

Another, he watched it at home, and said it buffered and froze from the start. He gave up. Then went back to it later, after the fight was over, and his just started.

I had the same problem. I was watching on my phone until the Tyson phone came on but my phones was an hours or so behind the live broadcast. The good news was I could rewind and watch the entire fight but it was weird how Netflix did not put viewers into Live coverage when they logged in.
