While I hate losing, as I love my favorite sports team to be on the winning side and love football. What would be the boards feelings at this point knowing we would have all these high draft picks and possibly a new franchise QB?

Would your outlook on the future be the same? Would you be enjoying this season more?

Talk amongst yourselves…

Personally would feel happier for the future, it sure is disheartening knowing right now sucks, and the future is gonna suck.
Hope Dak gets better but damn that contract stinks even before it was printed out
The timing of it hours before the Cleveland game? Like what?! Now we’re strapped to him and this is also with what is a 6-8 injury. He can’t even ride a bike for the next two months at minimum. The hamstring tore completely off the pelvic muscle!

They wouldn’t have all this money lol. They would’ve spent it by now. Possibly on Armstrong, Biadiz, Micah, Lamb and Lance.

Signing Dak was worse than Taco over watt, joey Galloway, shante carver, Roy Williams and firing Jimmy combined.

It is a qualified general manager's responsibility of forecasting and executing short- and long-range plans. Unfortunately, Jerry Jones the GM believes he has 20/20 vision for football success--even though his vision has always been 20/200.

I was fully expecting a bad season, not this bad but I was thinking 6 or 7 wins id everything broke right.

I was OK with that but once Jerry did the unthinkable, I checked out.

I am glade I did not waste my money on Sunday Ticket this year!

As far as I am concerned, this team will suck unit #4 is no more!

I don't hope he gets better. Let him retire. Year 10, he knows he stinks, will only get worse. He can go enjoy his life, his marriage, his mansions.

How do you work that out? Armstrong and Biadascz would be gone, CeeDee was extended anyway and Micah's not due....and Lance would be, where he should be, on the field trying to win the QB1 position in 2025.
Dak would be looking for a contract in March .....obviously Jerry would of extended him (on more money)....but there's a fair few fans that believe Jerry and Dak deserve one another.

My main issue isn’t signing Dak

The main issue is that it could cause a coaching opportunity to be less desirable here because you have the QB in place.

Does somebody like Johnson or Slowik want to risk their chances on a guy like Dak? Or do you go somewhere like Las Vegas and get to draft your guy?

I always said, it’s going to be a guy like Mike Vrabel. This is a good thing. Vrabel is a defensive minded coach and we need help on that side. He can come in, say let’s get you an upgrade at RB, WR and some OL help and know Dak, Lamb, Fergs, Tyler Smith will all be good players.

All the needs we have plus the most important position?

The future would be even more bleak. We'd look like the Panthers with any rookie QB.

Same problem that has plagued the Jerry/GM regime from the word go. He and his kid are poor talent evaluators even after all these years. So while the Dak contract is another in a long line of horrendous decisions, these are the same two decision makers that will be under taking their umpteenth rebuild. Give anybody else confidence?

It would be football glorious: New HC, 1st round QB, plenty cap space. It would be just like what Washington had last offseason. It would've been a quick reset.
