Beebe vs DexterLawrence

Dexter blew out his elbow and done for year. Maybe that had something to do with it.

I am really starting to wonder if the issues with the offensive line had more to with Martin and his injuries then the play of Steele and Guyton like the Martin defenders seem to blame.

I thought Beebe had a decent game, not as dominant as those numbers indicate, but solid all around. I dont mean this as a knock on Beebe, but I think he benefited from two very good games from Smith and Hoffman.
Supposedly according McGinns anonymous scouts, Beebe had 30% body fat. If thats true, once he turns that to muscle he will ne a much better player

Steele has been bad too often and no shade anyone wants to throw can conceal that

I'm more interested in knowing how Beebe did moving Dexter in the run game as I'm not impressed by his pass rush, although he's had a decent season in that regard.

Still think Beebe would be much at RG when Martin calls it a career.

To me he just seems like a natural guard over center. If we see a new coaching staff it’ll be interesting to see how they choose to shuffle the OL, especially Beebe and smith.

I think we already have the pieces to field a pretty good OL next year. I don't think that is necessarily true if you move Beebe to RG. Maybe he would be a better RG than C, I don't know. But I would expect him to be better next year wherever he plays.

I don't trust this staff to get the best 5 on the field. If they had just moved McGovern to C we could have had that position locked down a couple years ago.

When you have a starter in house & let them get away, it's tough to build a team.

Ignoring the obvious wont help

Rush is below average but he takes the ball at center not in shotgun and can actually read a defense

That is a big part of the equation
