Beebe vs DexterLawrence

I thought Beebe had a decent game, not as dominant as those numbers indicate, but solid all around. I dont mean this as a knock on Beebe, but I think he benefited from two very good games from Smith and Hoffman.
I mean who wouldn't benefit from playing alongside Brock Hoffman?

haven't worked out too well on their last 3 Michigan players. All high picks too.
Still stupid. It worked out just fine with Jourdan Lewis. It is downright stupid to not draft Kenneth Grant or Mason Graham. Their edge rusher is good too.

I am really starting to wonder if the issues with the offensive line had more to with Martin and his injuries then the play of Steele and Guyton like the Martin defenders seem to blame.
Please.

Do you really believe that a rookie OL who has never played center doesn't benefit from having one of the best guards in history suffers from his presence? Who do you think is in his ear on the line calls?

Yeah, these stat summaries are always dubious reading in 2-D. I thought he played a good game but I’ve watched some other clips he was getting rag-dolled but the play was going away from him.

never ever draft another Michigan player.
Because Aiden Huthinson is a bad player???? JLew seems pretty good to me as well. Mazi took awhile but seems to be growing, so I'm not sure why the bias against Michigan. Do I wish Mazi exploded out of the gate??? Sure, but many of us expected him to take a bit. It just sucks that we were right.

Not that high though-bottom of the first round and second round. Teams that reach for a position to fill a roster hole get in trouble when they do that. Aidan Hutchinson and Rashon Gary look good in the NFL. Maybe the team fixates on a position too much at times. And Mazi and Schoonmaker could turn into solid (yet unspectacular) starters eventually.

He had a neck issue and an ankle . Smith is out with injury so is Martin . It’s not just Guyton
Guyton has missed time this year for illness, knee, shoulder/neck and now ankle. Smith has proven that he can stay on the field and unfortunately Martin is on his last leg. My worry is that certain players are always hurt and aren’t reliable. I’m not saying Guyton falls under that category but his rookie year has been concerning.

True, I saw him get pushed a couple times but the dude is a Rook. He's been very solid in his first year of ever playing Center.
