Which ones would get you out of the general malaise we have all been feeling since Green Bay if not longer? For me, it's the following:
Ben Johnson
Aaron Glenn
Doug Pedersen
Pete Carroll
I would be OK with:
Brian Flores
Joe Brady
Robert Saleh
and, maybe, Kellen Moore

What say you??

Look what a young DC like Demeco Ryan’s has done in his first HC job in Houston . Changed that culture around .

I wanted an OC at first but a Zachary Orr Ravens DC could come in here and start the building of an attack defense to contend with Parsons as leader then Orr brings in a young OC to get 60 million $ man up to speed in the confidence game .

When I hear the Moores and Sanders thrown around I think Jerry is up to his old tricks of going comfort over doing some homework .

That’s part of the problem because what Ryans is doing in Houston he would not be doing here. He would be micromanaged to death while Jerry picks his entire staff. The setup here certainly isn’t conducive for the type of success he’s having with the Texans. It’s a big difference. Jerry wears every single hat in the organization, you expect homework? That’s not how they operate!

Jimmy Johnson (you said ones you'd get excited about, not whether it's realistic at all that they would become coach)

Will be oft- asked thread and question daily- but worth repeatin' mine:

1) Ben Johnson Detroit OC
2) Joe Brady Bills OC
3) Lien Cohen Bucs OC
4) Arron Glenn DC Detroit

- I'm after the three offensive Wizards, as all have done brilliant work with their respective QBs, ..they are terrific at scheming guys open,.. and they believe in a run attack game and balance, but they
know how to run the ball.

- I'm preparing myself for Jerry to go with one of his boyz at HC, in Deion Sanders, .. Kellen Moore,... or yep, Jason Witten.
- Jerry gonna take to Witten as being another dream of Lions HC Dan Campbell. But i think he will hand-pick Witten's asst. coaches

- Is Deion really considering HC Cowboys , or this more a ploy to get a bigger Colorado extension ( plus an interview could qualify a " Rooney Rule " to the NFL)
- Kellen Moore had a rapport with Dak , and club was no.1 in Red Zone offense (where McCarthy struggled badly) under KM.

- Glenn may have great ties to capable Asst. coaches -(just as Campbell did)- and he's seen as a leader of men (something questioned about KM)
Plus he runs an opportunistic turnover-force defense - something Zimmer scheme did not
But i really think Jerry is thinking Offense- HC , as more money/foundation is tied up on Offense, and he really wants to correct Dak

Chris Shula DC Rams ran circles around Wes Phillips OC and the Vikings , 9 sacks holy smokes . Bring in an Orr a Shula talk to them hear them out learn . Joe Brady OC Bills . A boatload of young talented coaches that can succeed if Jerry would expand his sights .

no one because cowboys will never win a super bowl with jerry and dak

Joe Brady
Aaron Glenn
Ben Johnson
Zac Orr

Forgot to add Kyle Shannahan and Mike Tomlin that I don't think are realistic.

He never will. He’s a coach killer and the way he manages this team will continue to be a problem.

Ron, good post. Sadly, Jerry’s “old tricks” are his only tricks.

Troy hit it on the head last night when he said Dan Campbell couldn’t do what he’s done in Detroit in Dallas because of the way Jerry operates.

I'm warning up to Deon. Pete Carrol would be good. Maybe Ben Johnson.
