Especially in relation to our major needs at WR, RB, DT and LBr. Seems like a good trade down year if we don’t like what we see at 12.

WR - I’d prefer to go WR early bc the class is thin at the top…but I think there have been some solid day 2 options that have emerged. Guys like Golden, Ayomanor, Williams and Harris seems to be solid potentials. Bond is the wild card - round 1 ability but might be some off the field issues.

RB - pick your flavor of ice cream…there are like 10 dudes that I think could come in year 1 and crack 1000 yards. My preference is to bring Rico back and bring in someone that can give us more juice for chunk plays. Henderson, Harvey, Sampson etc would be my preference.

LBr - I think Marist showed enough down the stretch that he can be our Mike moving forward but he also has the flex to play. I think Campbell is LB1 but Schlesinger is a stud and I wouldnt be surprised if some teams have him higher. If Marist sticks In looking for a DMo type that can fly to the ball, get sideline to sideline and add more speed to the defense. Carter, Bassa and Mondon appear to fit the mold.

DT - Best class I can remember in the last decade. I’d be open to a few guys in a trade down but I think the 2nd round is the sweet spot.

CB - weird class…a lot of 1st round talent but a lot of guys coming off injury. Might see a few slide to the 2nd.

I wouldn't touch Bond - guy was a disaster this year.
Golden - if he's there in the 2nd, I'm probably pulling the trigger. He's one of those guys that explodes off your screen and in person when watching the games.

I know WR is a need but outside of Tet McMillan everyone is a project guy or underwhelming. Easy class to pass on outside of a developmental late round shot, but we have lots of those.

I'd rather go DT early. It's so hard to get a quality guy there so coming out of the first two rounds without one would be painful.

RB - if you can't get a significant contributor out of this class then you should hang up your draft hat for good.

I agree on corner, some top end talent, some hurt guys that could slide. Overall a strong class.

I really love this safety class so far too. Emmanwori, Makuba, Bowman.

LB feels weak but I haven't gone through the expected mid round guys yet.

Edge is solid but I'd rather get a DT if I had to choose. Next year's edge crop looks great as well 26 DT looks thin.

OL is pretty weak. Almost no tackles. No centers. Some solid guards. There will be guys that make it but it's nothing like last year.

you want to draft this guy

Man couldn’t disagree more on the WRs…great year if you need to get a #2 you’re just likely going to have to grab one with your first 2 picks as they won’t stretch.

RB and DT is the strength of this class which is good as that is two of our worst positions.
Two DTs and a RB in the first three rds would be good for me.

WR SHOULD be addressed in FA.
What WR are you targeting? We won’t pay Higgins and outside of him it’s a bunch of old declining vets.

nice breakdown, and boy wouldn't it be sweet for the draft to really unfold in our favor. i just hate san fran picks directly in front of us each round.

Honestly the way the strengths are setup it very well could.

1. Burden or trade down for Egbuka
2. Best DT
3. Best RB

Im a BPA guy but wouldn’t be surprised if those positions are or are very close to BPA.

yeah I don't think he has that much ability,he is another body catcher we don't need,we need WRs with good catch radius especially with Dak.
I think we need guys that are have speed, quickness and agility to create easy separation. His Bama tape is littered with that just not sure what happened this year.

Which means we'll end up with G, TE and CB

Who do you like? I wasn't impressed by Burden's production, tape was better but not stand out. Size/athleticism seemed ok but not great.

Egbuka I like better. But a weak class means they get drafted higher. Both probably go around where BTJ went last year and neither is near the same level of prospect imo.
