There is no way that is right.
Yeah, it should not be but might be; and sadly with the stupidity we have seen so often from Big and Little Enos we very well might not see a RB or DT drafted early or even middle rds

Especially in relation to our major needs at WR, RB, DT and LBr. Seems like a good trade down year if we don’t like what we see at 12.

WR - I’d prefer to go WR early bc the class is thin at the top…but I think there have been some solid day 2 options that have emerged. Guys like Golden, Ayomanor, Williams and Harris seems to be solid potentials. Bond is the wild card - round 1 ability but might be some off the field issues.

RB - pick your flavor of ice cream…there are like 10 dudes that I think could come in year 1 and crack 1000 yards. My preference is to bring Rico back and bring in someone that can give us more juice for chunk plays. Henderson, Harvey, Sampson etc would be my preference.

LBr - I think Marist showed enough down the stretch that he can be our Mike moving forward but he also has the flex to play. I think Campbell is LB1 but Schlesinger is a stud and I wouldnt be surprised if some teams have him higher. If Marist sticks In looking for a DMo type that can fly to the ball, get sideline to sideline and add more speed to the defense. Carter, Bassa and Mondon appear to fit the mold.

DT - Best class I can remember in the last decade. I’d be open to a few guys in a trade down but I think the 2nd round is the sweet spot.

CB - weird class…a lot of 1st round talent but a lot of guys coming off injury. Might see a few slide to the 2nd.
Honestly 1st to 2nd Rd needs to be DT then you see drop off with complete DTs, and they are all NT Run defenders. RB is good all the way to the 7th round honestly. WR major drop off after 3rd round. LB if you looking for FT 3 down guys you can get them 1st to 4th round then its a drop off to 2 down LBs drop off...

Deion needs to NOT take his kids we dont have a need there and drop down to get more pics and load up this team. I'd prefer to see him against his kids so they can have bragging rights at Thanksgiving and christmas.

ID GO:
DT / DE 1st Round
DT / WR / DE 2nd Round
WR / LB 3rd Round
LB / RB 4 - 5 Round
CB / RB / LB / DT 6 - 7

People will complain even if they draft Jeanty at 12 and a dtackle at 44.

The reason I like WR in the 1st is bc it’s arguably the thinnest position of the draft in comparison to our needs.

I think we can get a stud DT in the 2nd since the class is so rich.

Then year wait on RB and maybe a LBr.

I love Jeanty but the Emmit Smith blasphemy needs to stop. There is only one Emmitt. Greatest back of all time and my favorite Cowboys player of all time.
I'm pretty sure no one is projecting he will have Emmitt's type of career. Just he has some traits similar to Emmitt. This isn't much different from other incoming prospects compared to current or former NFL players. It happens all the time........but to be honest, I don't also don't see the Emmitt comparison. Actually, his running reminds me more of Reggie Bush ....

Emmitt is the most disrespected running back in the history of the NFL. There are idiots out there that think the Cowboys would have been better with Barry. Just an insult to Smith’s greatness.

Reggie Bush never had the power Jeanty has shown and Jeanty has not shown the shiftiness Bush had
Bush was a bust in the NFL compared to what he looked like in college
WHICH just goes to show what a back does in college is not always transferable to the NFL
