Interviews set:
- Robert Saleh
- Leslie Frazier
- Kellen Moore

Other names offered:
- Deion Sanders (who reportedly would "almost certainly" accept)
- Jason Witten

What, no mention of Ben Johnson?

Jerry and company will milk this drama for all they can get out of it. Sadly, I feel they will eventually interview Johnson for the optics. Float that he's at the top of their list for consideration. The media will sensationalize it for all they can get out of it. And the organization will hire mediocrity. I sure hope I'm wrong.

Moore has to be the favorite (of Jones).
*He'll be cheap
*He's someone that JJ is familiar with
*He can get cheap players, and the coaching staff HE wants....he wouldn't have to have conflict with a strong personality
*If we do miraculously win anything, Jones can take all the credit he wants. He'll feel he did it his way.

Because no one considers him as even a remotely likely option.

There are lots of candidates not on the list and the reason is that they aren’t even rumored to be in the mix.

People shouldn’t waste their time speculating about him.

I don't think they will interview Johnson at all. I think he'll have other offers that will interest him more. I just don't see Jerry hiring any strong candidates or personalities. I don't think any strong coaching candidate will ever want to come here again.

If that's the list of candidates, who even cares. They have officially become 'America's Joke'

So, kind of like when we didn't even interview Derrick Henry, yet the media implied daily that the Cowboys were showing interest? My expectations won't be lowered simply because the Cowboys organization refuses to raise the bar.

This is all a dog and pony show. Jerry knows who he wants already. He is going through the motions to meet all the Rooney rule requirements, etc.

He wants Kellen Moore, and if Moore turns him down, he will hire Deion and claim that's who he wanted all along.

They want KMoore.

#KMoore will fix our offense.

Not interviewing Ben Johnson is as egregious as not trying to sign Derrick Henry…..not saying you should hire him but avoiding the hottest coaching candidate for the last 2 years tells me Cowboys aren’t moving any different the the past.

No way. Maybe the other way around. I can’t see Moore being higher on the list than Prime.

That would be a catastrophic mistake. I hope you're wrong about that.
He will fix our jacked up offense.

after Big Mike took over the play calling, it was clear who was behind our #1 ranked offense.

the Jones family is very comfortable with KMoore.

the interview is basically a checkin.

I don't think they'll interview Johnson if they think he won't entertain it.

Bingo. The perfect personality for Jerry to maintain his alpha status and face of the Cowboys. Plus he will be cheaper than most.
