There is zero logical reason or hard proof to make this statement. Have you even taken a look at ANY defense the Dallas Cowboys have fielded during either of Zimmer's stints as DC?

Yeah, I have. I thought they played pretty well considering all the injuries to key players and kept the defense together. They got stronger as the year went on and would be able to build on that next year

He should have been fired week 6.
Teams playing more conservative offense so as not to loose after Dak was injured doesn’t mean his defense was good or even improved over the season.
