"I have a great feeling about Schotty, what he's looking for," McClay said. "He's going to communicate, he's going to over communicate, he's going to ask his staff to do that and they're going to over communicate with us and we're going to over communicate with them.
"That's how we're going to get it done the first year and we'll continue to grow and get better at it."
McClay's introduction to Schottenheimer came during his time as a coaching analyst with the Cowboys in 2022, where he got a front row seat to how Schottenheimer went about his role, and at times did more than what was asked of him.
"Saw how he grinded and he was a really big part of the advance process in helping the coaches get ready, so we spent a lot of time talking," McClay said. "He spent a lot of time talking to the pro staff and so you got a great feel for his understanding of personnel, how personnel is used."

Seems a lot of communication going on.

Jerry for sure has to like that. As we all know he likes when people talk. Means money.

Whatever "over communication" means. Sounds like a critique. But who cares. Money cures.

exactly what was said about MM and then Garrett and so on. its a laminated card he reads from every coaching change.

So this years catch word will be Communicate. . . OK, Gotcha on the day. Yesterday it was deference.
May depend on the day. Yesterday it was deference. Stephen wasn’t sure of himself saying it, but JJ was wearing it out.

LOL “over communicate”

He’s turning into Jerry

McClay said "that's how we're going to get it done the first year". So, y'all didn't catch that.

Anyways, communicate some FAs on the team in March. I'm a draft guy, but this team will barbecue or mildew based off Free Agency.
