I wouldn't mind seeing them draft three DTs. Not sure about five, but can't say I'd hate that. As is, I think we have to get an RB in there. I'd at least take one by 76. In fact, I'd probably take another one late just to hedge my bets.

Ollie Gordon

I like the focus on DL. LOL. But I would have taken at least 1 RB and 1 LB. Maybe a WR too. But these mock draft simulators are really quirky. I keep seeing Graham fall to Dallas at 12 on PFN. I suppose it is possible. Micah fell that far.

I wonder if the Eagles success in the SB will cause a run on DTs in this draft. I also doubt the Cowboys use a first round pick on DT. I think they will look more at DE, or WR.

My PFN draft from 5 minutes ago:

18. Jalon Walker LB - Georgia - Trade down
45. Kenneth Grant DT - Michigan -Trade down
50. Deone Walker DT - Kentucky
76. TreVeyon Henderson RB - Ohio St.
116.. Ricky White WR - UNLV
150. Jordan Phillips DT - Maryland
170. Jaylen Noel Wr - Iowa St.
172. Demetrius Knight Jr. LB - South Carolina
174. Jordan James RB - Oregon
190. Rayuan Lane S - Navy
211. Barryn Sorrell Edge - Texas
249. Oluwafemi Oladejo LB, UCLA

2026 Seattle 4th.

I traded down for Walker because I think he can make a huge impact on the Cowboys defense. He and Micah as bookend Edge rushers would be pretty good. If Sam Williams can bring anything after his injry is reallt sets up a good pass rush for Dallas.

I didn't want to take 3 DTs, but Phillips was the best player available at 150 in a position of need.

Honestly, I do not think Grant will be available at 45. I don't think Henderson will be available at 76.

I read scouts raved about Knight's leadership on the field at the Sr bowl. I like that. I also read Lane was outstanding but his downside is he may have to serve before he can play. a pick at 190 was worth the risk I think. He would go much higher if he did not have to go on active duty after graduation.

Olajedo was outstanding at the Sr Bowl so I doubt he lasts until 249.

The obvious issue with simulators is they cannot really predict who each team will pick in the draft. There are always surprises in the draft the upset draft boards.

So you got your DL resolved. A match to play games with Parsons in Jalon Walker (WOW - I'd love to design D's with these two), your starting RB in Henderson, a couple of WR to develop and a couple of LB's that might even be the Mike you are looking for...............NEVER happen.

I would think anyone but Jerry was in charge now. This one is actually too good for Dallas, IMO. Players might be challenging for playing time, and some churning might be happening.

I'm not a big fan of Walker, but that would be a pretty incredible haul. Too incredible to be realistic, but that's what draft simulators do.

I have had some incredible drafts on these simulators. But I know when April rolls around it will not be that good at all for Dallas. Most of the players we want will be gone and the pickings will look very different. But, I will say there are a lot of RBs and DTs in this draft. It would take a great effort to not come out of it will a good DT and a good RB. I am sure Jerry could manage it but it would have to be intentional.

There have definitely been other strong RB drafts where Dallas did nothing despite everyone else seeing there was a need. I'm not counting on anything.
