The effects of age and Dak Prescott

Because playoff games are lose and you're done, there's no tomorrow if you lose in the playoffs. Lose a game or two or three in the regular season and there's always next week. Barring losing late in the year and the loss puts you out of the playoff chance of course, but that's nearly always not until the last couple of games.
Which, again leads to the suggestion that he cant perform under pressure.

No applicable reading applications to subject matter. I won't change my proper discussion nor apologize for reference sources for statistics or sports reporting sources. That is more than just a convenient opinion.

I won't serve as a whipping boy which seems to be a true pleasure of yours.

For the umpteen time and in thread with many personal observations and experience...Dak is fine and the team is starting to come together in a new founded way. Team!

An insult with the use of a beginning YOU, always indicates insult. That is your ethics...not football or value involved.

Greatest Moment Of 2018 Cowboys Season: Dak's Performance In Playoff Victory Against Seattle

ARLINGTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - A touchdown pass and touchdown run by quarterback Dak Prescott helped pace the Cowboys to their 24-22 Wild Card Playoff game win over the Seattle Seahawks at AT&T Stadium on January 5.

Prescott looked to finish the fight by running the ball in himself to make the score 24-14 with just over two minutes left in the game. He finished the game with 226 yards passing and two total touchdowns.

"He showed that he won this playoff game. He took it on his shoulders. He made plays that put us in position to come out like we did. That's what you want from your quarterback,"

https://www.cbsnews.com/texas/news/greatest-moment-2018-cowboys-season-playoff-victory-seattle/

Now see if you can match up with your own insult and facts claimed in conflict. And your own tool, 'Can you?'

You post a lot of stuff you dont understand.

Dallas received a decent season from Rico Dowdle, who quickly usurped the re-signed Ezekiel Elliott as the team’s primary rusher. Dowdle is unsigned, and this Williams deal would not seem to impede a reunion. The two would bring complementary skillsets. The Cowboys have shown interest in keeping Dowdle, but it will be interesting to see if a player who can blend a quality season with low mileage can fetch notable offers elsewhere.

Williams finished the final year of a four-year rookie deal worth $8,865,752 million with a signing bonus of $3,807,819 million and became a free agent this off-season.

I was part of a champagne breakfast given for Soldiers of the Year in Hawaii, The last cork on the champagne was popped as we got up to board our bus back to the Hale Koa.

Insult isn't yours to disperse.
That you are a guy who was part of the army fits the picture of you.
And you seem to be found everywhere were alcohol is involved.

Not so much where serious knowledge is asked.

First you can take the chest, hand and wrist injuries off the Burrow list becasue the original point was about the extent of injuries to a wheel.

So my point to you is from the list I presented is there any other QB who has had more serious end of season injuries to one leg than Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys?

I list them as: Compound fracture, dislocated ankle and a torn hamstring.

I don't think it would be delusional to you if you suffered all those injuried on your right leg? Certainly not for me.

I stand by my statement. We should be on the sidelines watching Dak Prescott, and I would certainly not be "all in" on him becuase he has to prove that he can play beyond these conditions.

Injuries, o-line, rb room and talent limitations. This is not delusional, it's just common sense with an eye on risk management.
And somebody's triggered around here, aren't they? LMAO

Ditto

I'm not taking any of that off a list, the man has been absolutely a walking injury, you can stand by your statement, but that doesn't make you correct,

you're not right, you just think you are because you have an opinion ,

I'm telling you you're wrong isn't that funny how that works I say you're flat out 100% wrong Prescott came back from 2020's injury and had his best season last year it looked worse because the team sucked ,if you don't see it ,

you're bad, not mine..BYE

You are assuming but can't accept the trail of acceptance. After all your rejections on topic and depth, this just makes you assinine. Find one's hole as this is not support but insult.

You are in violation and intentionally attacking me. Your not entitled, right, or riding the demands of a team loyalty.

Anyone just watching can tell if there is a loss involved, but you just 'have' to talk like you alone posses knowledge of both football and in addition are entitled to enforce that. You aren't, 'big man.' I have played the game and understand most things about. I just don't throw stuff around to maintain a false sense of my own value...

I took my Ford into the dealership on time, was nicely handled on a recall. Five minutes of interaction with Robert. MY vehicle has already taken care of and now is in a system diagnosis and will be back in my hands as soon as my daughter-in- returns from the store, Total time, one hour.

You talked no football for a discussion, as you had NO discussion just your own vanity.

Nothing wrong has happened bad or not already prepared for by Jerry and the franchise.

How many you's were used to act like a discussion? I served in service where in formal function a toast was required to be raised. When one received blood stripes he was expected to buy all his unit's NCO's a round of beer.

As a secondary duty I was a drug and alcohol adviser. Experience has taught me, both to identify the negatives, but also the positives.

Worry about you not me, but talk football.

Defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa was taken care of early to become a very important set piece on the interior of Matt Eberflus’ defense.

How the Cowboys have roster built as of late, not supporting Lamb with a consistent second receiver or playing Prescott in the first year of his new deal behind an offensive line with two rookie starters and, at the time he was available to play, a nonexistent run game.

https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/202...len-javon-hargrave-free-agency-osa-odighizuwa

But I'm still watching. This is what Dak needs, not the fountain of youth.

Former Washington Commanders stalwart Jonathan Allen is now on the market (he is visiting the Vikings), along with former San Francisco 49ers DT Javon Hargrave...you going to buy another team's let looses instead of a similar status own player?

This still interests me:

Hargrave is a two-time Pro Bowler as a third-round pick out of South Carolina State. This is a player that’s made a name for himself with a plus motor as a pass rusher, toughness against the run for his size, and a knack for being in the right position at the right times to clean up plays.

https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/202...len-javon-hargrave-free-agency-osa-odighizuwa

This is the rest of the picture with Allen:

Then there is a player the Cowboys are even more familiar with, veteran Jonathan Allen. Playing his entire career so far as a 2017 first-round pick to Washington, Allen is now available in free agency after one year under former Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. The Commanders could not find a trade partner for the 30-year old tackle who only appeared in eight games last season. There is hardly any reason to think Allen cannot still help a team, having at least 10 tackles for loss and five and a half sacks the previous three seasons when he played at least 16 games each time. Allen came back from a torn pectoral muscle that could have easily been season ending to play in the Commanders final two games of the regular season, recording a sack in the finale against the Cowboys. He then played through the entire miraculous three-game playoff stretch the Commanders went on all the way to the NFC Championship game.

Allen can be a scheme fit anywhere with his ability to shed blocks quickly, play with elite pad level, and finish at the point of attack. His strong hands and lateral quickness make him a nightmare for opposing guards and centers to deal with.

How about Dak's playoff record against opponents scoring at least 30 points?

0-3. Now exactly rested the problem. Game changers and defense.

Or take 2018, the 30-22 loss to the Rams at The Coliseum. Why, the Rams ran for a Cowboys opponent playoff record 273 yards and three touchdowns, led by C.J. Anderson coming off his couch to gain 123 of those yards.

So, ....both offense and defense played like crap.

Pointing out the failures of others doesn't absolve one of their own failures.
Or like mom used to say, two wrongs don't make a right, though many adults fill discussion forums with such arguments

When injuries affected end results for this season, the team still stood up on 3 consecutive 12 win seasons for the first time in NFL history. Yes, of course.

The playoff record also includes 2 Divisional level games.

That while Dak led the Cowboys to a third consecutive 12-5 record in 2023, that he led the NFL with his 36 touchdown passes, finished second with a 105.3 QB rating, led the NFL with his 410 completions, that his third 4,000-yard passing season (4,516) tied Tony Romo for the most in franchise history, yea.

Please show the math that points to the statistical probability for the prediction of future events, using your data set

Blame the game.

You didn't bother to use a period... as you didn't use common sense.

Now tell us about this:

In agreeing to terms with Williams, the Cowboys add youth and depth to a running back room that only had Deuce Vaughn signed on the roster from at the start of the offseason. Now, Dallas faces two more questions: How high do they want to draft a running back, and does this mean Rico Dowdle is out of the equation?

Cowboys free agency: Dallas agrees to terms with defensive tackle Solomon Thomas

Stop posting data sets to support your prediction of future events if you can't demonstrate your understing of the probability of such predictions based on said data sets.

Hint: none

Solomon Thomas for Golston, I'll take it. This is football.

As to personal, you don't tell me a damn thing, Check in at the office.

Smart guys don't utilize the "two wrongs make a right", or the alternative "don't look at me, look at my brother" arguments.

They are logical fallacies and demonstrate one's lack of ability to support their thesis

You are welcome to do it. It just lends no support to your argument, statistically.

Ever bought a stock? This should be familiar.

"Past performance is no guarantee of future results"

Wow...capable of no football...run along.

Good pick up and Jerry's team winning their own race. No I didn't say raceway.

It's basic stuff.
Just trying to help you out, since you're probably a decent guy and we're just having a discussion.

And while we're demonstrating our mastery of nursery rhymes,
