Micah tweets "No more rookie qb lol welcome to reality!" about Niners Free Agency

I hope they trade Micah. Not because I have anything against him. It’s because this franchise is a composite heap except for the special teams guys, CeeDee, T Smith and Parsons.

I watched 4 Super Bowl wins so I’m content. I’ll just love watching the complainers get their hopes up, only to watch this team be mid at best. This ship is sinking and those big contracts equate to nothing more than jersey sales.

well the offensive line is better. the running game is much better when CMC is healthy. the defense is a little better even though last year they struggled at time in the fourth quarter in close games. i know i would love to have Kittles he beats all of our tightends by a mile.

Technically, Purdy has 1 more rookie year left whether he gets an extension or not. Parsons was off by a year.

I have beef with the FO not bringing in quality FAs so we agree on that.

If we were 1 or 2 players away from contending I'd be ok with overpaying Parsons BUT I'd rather deal him for a bevy of picks because we have so many holes to fill.

Parsons will still continue to be stymied against the Eagles because of lack of talent around him.

No team has ever paid 3 players more than 35 million a year in the history of the NFL and it won't work here.

Deal him, take the picks and retool because there is no help forthcoming through FA.......but the stats still show him struggling in December and January and no amount of debating will change that

Yeah I'm sure you're "content" with 30+ years of failure.

Its called rationalizing, but keep using the c word if it makes you feel better.

Some of these guys never experienced a superbowl and you have the audacity to call them complainers. Give me a break.

Maybe they don't have the pieces because they traded away 3 number ones and a 3rd for Trance.
 
Parsons loves interacting with people and there's nothing wrong ............I honestly think he would be the same w/o the NFL.

I have other sports teams not run by some 82 wannabe gm and his goofy son that get it. If these guys aren’t serious about fielding a team like the “haves” are doing presently then why waste any concern to complain.

If I have any gripe, it would be the front office and not someone’s podcast. Complaining about someone podcast is really the dumbest thing I’ve seen yet from the clown fanbase. Those same complainers after a few wins vs scrubs will tout that “we dem boyz”.

The Eagles weren't that much better than us in 2023, if at all. They fixed it in one offseason and won the SB. Dallas went in the opposite direction because they made no effort to put a better product on the field. You think they'll do it with more picks?

I mentioned this is another thread, and it is in regard to high paid players. Last year's cap hits for Eagles high paid players. Hurts, AJ. Brown, D. Smith, L. Dickerson, and Barkley. A total of 40m against the cap. That's nothing. Dak's cap hit alone was higher!!! The two GMs aren't playing the same game. There are ways to sign multiple impact players, and there's the Dallas Cowboys.

Well since Jerry is dead set against spending real money on free agency drafting players is the only other option

It also limits trade. I just don't get it. Jerry and son have house rules. Like some of us do when we're playing a game against a bad AI. He's hamstringing the team and doesn't know it?

Romo retired. That is how you take advantage. His cap value was minimal and they were not in a bind with a $600K Go to the links this was not the problem. The problem is Jerry Dumbo GM Jones is cheap. Jimmy Johnson gave him his Super Bowls and he does not care as long as the Jonesboys stay relevant without spending to get to Super Bowls.
