Like the tuna used say about acquiring former high round draft picks, someone thought they had talent, nothing wrong taking a chance..ie.. Marc Colombo comes to mind and Leonard Davis also...time will tell about these pickups.

I haven’t followed him but his stats say below avg. abd a first round pick that got 12 starts in 3 years. Obviously he has some talent to be picked in first so the question is can we get out of him what bills couldn’t. The price is good but I don’t think he’s half the player Lewis was

Yes because it is not 3 years ago. Trey Lance was also a dumpster dive and he was a 1st round pick only 2 years ago at the time of trade.

Where someone is picked is teams trying to guess how good an NFL player they will be. However 3 years later guesses are no longer needed. There is actual gametape that shows exactly how good they will be.

Tom Landry gave 3 years to show something,if you didn't you were gone.

This just gives us an option in case CB, which isn't very deep in draft is something we miss on. With Will Johnson not running, like at all, he's off my board. Leaves only a few I actually like in draft.

He played a decent amount in the slot. So he does have a chance there.
