He was coming off an injury so nobody was offering him much money. His agent would never have signed a 3 yr cheap deal in that situation.

Exactly you saved me a post I mean everyone always blames Jerry why did they send him to a long term deal and they don't realize the guy was an older player I know he's not real coming off an injury you don't give long term contracts to those guys.... It would've been nice to keep him but they obviously have a plan there's a reason they had let him go even though our corner room is in dire straits with people coming off injury and what not could be one of the targets in the first round is my guess they'll be definitely looking harder at the corner position early in the draft.. I'll trust the reason they didn't sign it wasn't Jerry being cheap I think if they had their coaching staff ask for him to stay he'd be here they may have another plan they got other guys in mind....
