So u believe that he will be a full ready to go then?It will be more than a year (~1.25 years) by the time the season starts.

Good post ,I hope Schottenheimer can instill some discipline into this team .McCarthy was never able to bring discipline in to his head coaching tenure with Dallas.Sam hopefully has matured some he has tremendous athletic ability he will be a nice rotational piece if healthy. He is a walking personal foul and a suspension waiting to happen. But, he can go get the QB if he is healthy. The good news is that he tore his ACL over the Summer and not during the season, so hopefully he is ready to go soon and 100% by week 1. I think the low discipline/accountability style of the triumvirate of Jerry, McCarthy and Quinn was the worst thing for him and he didn't get enough time under Zimmer to see if anything was going to change. Hopefully with a new group of coaches in town and a year off to look in the mirror and grow and post arrest and post accident in which he was driving 100 MPH we see a more mature Sam Williams. The talent to dominate as a nickel pass rusher is there if his head is in the right place and if he is focused on doing things the right way and doesn't lose control of his emotions and plays smart.
Yep.So u believe that he will be a full ready to go then?
As soon as he is declared healthy and physically able to perform in the NFL I would CUT the guy. He never showed much even when healthy. He has had and used up his chances as a Cowboy.Sam showed us all what he is over and over. Did he somehow get smarter? I don't trust him. Like the skill set but can't stand the mistakes. Counting on him is a bad idea.
that's insane that dude deserves every shot to make this roster he has all the talent in the world and you think he needs to be cut? Yeah, I don't think so..Shame on the HC if Sam is still here after camp. This could mean we failed to replace him or we still lack bodies
Using that no standard he just might be the Pope as well...ever hear from him?I'm down on Sam Williams. He had 10-sack type physical talent, but his mental mistakes cost the team just as much as his sacks gained them. And now that Achilles might sap his physical talent.
You must be his agent. Good job boyothat's insane that dude deserves every shot to make this roster he has all the talent in the world and you think he needs to be cut? Yeah, I don't think so..
Not shame on the head coach if the defensive coordinator says he can work with the guy and he wants him on the roster he gets him on the roster you do realize it's a new scheme and new defensive coordinator and mostly new defensive staff?
I'll trust if he's still on this roster that he's wanted by the staff... Funny some of y'all behind your phones or desks think that he should be cut without given a chance when other guys have floated around the league that have done worse or not lived up to expectations they get second chances.. This is the perfect year for him to step up....
Shame on the HC if Sam is still here after camp.
and you must be a super pro that I don't know, have ran a professional football team maybe in your spare time, or are you the owner of one of the 32 teams? You must be his agent. Good job boyo![]()
That's what I can't figure out I'm thinking this guy personally damaged one of his family members lol maybe there's something weird going on I say let's see how the guy develops.. The Saints just paid a guy and chase young who only had five and a half sacks last year he has 22 sacks over his five year career and he's getting $17 million a year over three years and Bryce huff last year did nothing for his 17,000,000 you don't give up on a guy that has a first step in speed and instincts that just needs to develop..
He was a starting DE last year until his injury.
Had to toss you a like for the R-C inversionAnother talented player suffering from a rectal-cranial inversion. Hope for the best.
He didn’t tear his Achilles.I'm down on Sam Williams. He had 10-sack type physical talent, but his mental mistakes cost the team just as much as his sacks gained them. And now that Achilles might sap his physical talent.
