I agree about Milton. Not Grier. The guy is 30. Like a 5 year vet and has appeared in 2 regular season games. If he had upside, it wouldve surfaced by now IMO.

See the last game he played in Dallas. That's why he is back.

Those measurements do not mean that he can actually be a good QB.

I figured that you didn't. He got off to a great start in preseason at New England.

OK...I'm not mad at this trade at all. AT ALL. We shouldn't settle on him BUT...if we were to get a stud RB in the draft...the future could be here sooner than anyone anticipated...including Dak.

Dak has no worries, he has JJ wrapped around his finger so he is the starter, and if he gets injured, no sweat off his balls, he has his money in the bank. Dak should be under arrest for abusing the elderly.

While his first preseason game performance was okay, his 2nd and 3rd outings were laughably incompetent.

True. That's why I wouldn't get too excited about a backup. The Cowboys need to start looking for Daks replacement real soon.

I agree, but not this year. This year, we need to build the team to be ready for his replacement. I think Milton is a great pick up because, let's say we pick someone like Archie Manning next year round one, we can have the rookie sitting a year behind Dak, and then we can have the rookie and Milton compete when Dak leaves. Loser gets traded, and they'd have a team that's built for their success.

This is what you want to be the case…..but truthfully I would think his agent knows Dak is starting for the next 3 years due to his salary……

The LAST thing...the VERY last thing I want, is for a krappy 3rd string QB, to look at the starting QB of my favorite team, and think "he's my best chance of starting in this league"...and have it not be that crazy of an idea.
