One of those comments that has zero basis in reality. Of course he works hard on his mental game. My guess is that every starting QB in the league does. Yes, he ‘is what he is’, a top 10 QB in the NFL. EVEN IF HE WASN’T TOP 10, he’d be one of the 32 best QBs on planet earth.
It seems to elude some people how much talent it takes to start at QB for any NFL team. Yeah, I’d probably rather have Patrick, Lamar, and maybe 3-4 other guys, but those 3-4 others would be very close to Dak.
Another weird thing about football fans in general, but in particular here, is that they seem to completely forget that it takes 11 dudes on offense to win, not just a great QB. Must have an RB. We don’t. Must have more than one stud receiver (TE or WR) starting. We don’t. Must have a decent o-line. We certainly didn’t last year, but they’re getting better.
We’ve seen Dak go 13-3 with a great o-line, a strong RB, and decent receivers, and that was as a rookie. He’s magnitudes better now. Give him the tools and he’ll succeed. He’s actually been winning without those tools, but imagine if he had them.
