Cowboys have the 13th best odds of making the playoffs in the NFC

The commanders are vastly overrated. They won a lot of games on the last play or two of games against some average to bad teams.

I know their rookie QB had a great rookie season. But counting on the ball bouncing their way again is a lot.

This should be a good CZ entertainment read.
13 out of a possible 16 teams.
Geez, that's poor even for the most extreme homers here.

Cowboys!
I think we have to appreciate how bad we’re going to smash the 3 nfc teams below us. Giants and the Panthers got nothing on us.

The more I look at it the more I'm tempted to actually throw down a few bucks lol. I know the Cowboys aren't great this year, but its not like they are completely out of the running to grab a 7 seed.
Don't fall for it TP!! Fold them dollars & put em back in yo pocket!!

Ranch can add this to his idol collection.

Falcons, Bears, Seahawks and Cardinals are all teams who I believe we should be better than. Of course this also means our qb has to be healthy for the most part, but I'm not sure the justification for putting all of those above us. I suppose they are projecting growth from Penix and Caleb Williams. They are also projecting Darnolds season last year to not simply be an outlier.
It's certainly all projection at this point.
Falcons have a good young core and play in a division with two of the teams we might be better than plus they have upside at QB. So from playoff standpoint would seem they do have advantages.
Bears are similar, play good D but play in a tougher division. I doubt they make the playoffs but think they will be better.
If the Cardinals ever figure out how to field even a middle of the road offensive line they would be dangerous. Same on the defensive line. One of the few teams to make our trenches look good by comparison.
If there is anything we know about the Seahawks, they can shuffle the roster & still remain competitive.

We play in a tougher division, don't participate in high level free agency and have an aging, injured QB who doesn't thrive on pressure.

That is fair but they have been quite active in the offseason. If they plug some of their holes ....

All those teams have better QBs. And that's just the NFC. You start talking about AFC also and Dak could easily drop to 20.
Playoff teams are only going as far as their QB will take them.
