My excitement for the draft is at an all-time low.
That is nothing exclusive to the Cowboys. It happens every year.if you trade back 2 far then you are grabbing 2nd round talent in the first. Kind of like we did with Guyton.
If there was a player they loved enough to trade two 2nds and a third for they’d have already drafted the guy at 10. The Bears are worse than the Cowboys. They need more draft picks, not less. The most popular opinion seems to be that trades will be scarce because nobody wants to move up after the first ten picks are gone.
Still, I believe there will be opportunity for the Cowboys to trade down if only two QBs have been drafted at that point. If only one QB has been taken at this point, there are a few teams unable to hold their bladder long enough and the Cowboys could ask for the moon.
How about the idea of trading completely out of the 1st round? I know, most will hate teh idea. However, Chicago, Seattle and Buffalo each have two picks in the 2nd round.
In particular a pretty equal trade according to the chart, would be the Cowboys trading the #12 overall pick to the Bears for the #39 and #41 picks in the second round along with #72 in the 3rd round. This would give the Cowboys five players in the top 76.
The Cowboys would have #39, #41, #44, #72 and #76 in the top three rounds.
I'm sure you are right, I'm just pondering the what-ifs.If there was a player they loved enough to trade two 2nds and a third for they’d have already drafted the guy at 10. The Bears are worse than the Cowboys. They need more draft picks, not less.
Excellent cartridge. Clean the groove. Excellent all around. Like it better than. Ortofon
Well then why would other teams want to trade up?at this point hell trade back real far get as much as you can, there's only a few blue chip players they're saying in this draft
uhh because maybe they feel differently than other teams in terms of where they have players ratedWell then why would other teams want to trade up?
do you ever do autograph sessions? I'd like to get in line.uhh because maybe they feel differently than other teams in terms of where they have players rated

Caleb’s circle of friends notwithstanding, perhaps the Cowboys should try to acquire the Bears’ 1st round pick. Dak could use a few “friends”.I'm sure you are right, I'm just pondering the what-ifs.
That's the interesting part to me, the way a draft unfolds. There is literally an exponential amount of possibilities, every pick influences the next and the possibilities continue to branch out.
And who's to say the Bears don't want two players in the top 12? If they get Jeanty in the 10th, it might be nifty to grab a monster O-lineman like Campbell or Membou for him to run behind for the next ten years. Then again, take TE Tyler Warren and now Caleb Williams has two new best friends.
How's the excitement for a Lombardi this year?My excitement for the draft is at an all-time low.
